Light and well cushioned, I walk 2 miles everyday in these. Great vibram soles!

You know you have a great shoe as soon as you slip your foot in them for the 1st time & they are comfortable before you even take the 1st step ! Every pair of Merrells I've ever had are the best.

What I love - midsole, traction and rock protection. A great trainer but Not for technical terrain. Dislikes - The upper material is to stretchy, I have to pull the laces tighter at 4-5 miles. Foot needs to sit down deeper in the shoe to be more stable. There's a disconnect between how the upper connects to the lower part of the shoe, not stable on technical. Overall great for lots of miles on easier terrain and great road to trail Will buy again!!

Just got them and havent worn them much but they are very comfortable.

I've put about 500 miles on these this year and they've been phenomenal. Love the comfortable fit but durable build. Raced the Leadville 50 in them and was really pleased.

This shoe has become my go to everyday shoe for knocking around or hilly neighborhood hiking. We have a lot of good trails near our house and the streets to get to them have a lot of hills and trees that provide shade and encourage wildlife. These shoes provide a stable and well cushioned platform for older feet with metal repairs and really make walking a lot less about thinking about how my feet feel. I have tried a number of expensive shoes and these are the ones I grab for most of the time.

Right out of the box the Agility Peak 5 is comfortable and lightweight. First run was a 17 miler on dirt forest roads and single track with roots. Traction is superb, even in wet sloppy terrain. There a little things about this shoe that I love, including the flexible wrap around in the midfoot region - this contributes to a wonderful fit and a secure feeling that provides confidence on gnarly terrain. What surprised me most is that when I had to cross paved roads, the shoe felt really well cushioned even on the pavement. There is an elastic shoe lace holder - something simple - but it keeps the laces out the way and prevents them from becoming untied. The ride is remarkably stable but I still have adequate proprioception - something critical for an elite trail shoe. This shoe is under marketed - it is far better than the best selling Hoka Speedgoat - and more versatile.

I bought these shoes a couple months ago, and I am disappointed! For 1, they are "mushy" ( meaning, not stable) the left shoe seems loose on the heel pad. Good I bought on sale!

Extremely Light Trail Running Shoes! Vibram Outsole is amazing for tough trails.

To start with, the traction on these is absolutely world class. It's as good as you're likely to find on any trail shoe at any price from any manufacturer. And there are other really nice features as well, such as the gaiter attachments and the lace loops, which are fabulous at keeping them from coming untied. My feet are on the wide side of average and the fit is comfortably snug. The lockdown is good enough that I don't smash my toes into the front of the toe boxes on the descents, which is a problem I have in a lot of other shoes. In general, they perform above expectations. I have exactly two gripes with them that keeps me from giving them 5 stars. The first is that the lace design makes it easy to get an uncomfortable tight spot right at the top. As such, I find that I have to retie them two or three times whenever I put them on. The second is that the firm midsole, relatively high stack, and relatively narrow profile makes it super easy to roll an ankle if you're not paying attention. Neither of these are deal breakers. Anyway, I'm super happy with them and will be ordering more as soon as I wear these out.

These shoes are super comfy. Ive hiked in them twice a did one trail run. They are a little squishy but that's what I signed up for.

Ive had a pair for two weeks. Great for work and walking on average of 12 miles per day. Comfortable and durable.

I absolutely love these sneakers from the moment I put them on. I wear a 7 1/2 and that's what I ordered. Fits great. My feet are a little wide and I still had enough room in the footbed.
