Highly recommend by my Podiatrist. The first pair of Hoka's fit a little better than my recent purchase. The second pair are a bit big in the toe area.

They look a bit like duck shoes but they are super comfortable, cushy and stable

With foot problems, the Hokas are the only comfy shoes; along with the Super Feet insoles

This is the 3rd pair of Hoka Gaviota shoes that I've bought. I've never experienced the level of comfort and stability that these shoes have provided! I have flat feet, stage 4 arthritis in one ankle, and tendon/ligament issues in my other ankle. I can actually walk and workout in the Gaviota with little to no pain. Love these shoes!

This is the wide I've been waiting for! So much better for me than the 4 and that version was pretty good. Comfort has been great all day.

Comfortable right out of the box and I especially love the sophisticated design. Maybe more color choices coming soon???

I love these shoes! The Gaviota 4s have been my go to shoe, because they're so incredibly comfortable, but they aren't very cute. The new look of the 5s is much more appealing and the softer foam makes them really bouncy! They're fun to walk in :) The heel of this new shoe is noticeable lower than the 4's. It's taking a little getting used to, but again that adds to the bounce of this shoe.

I'm saying true to size because they are not a half size off, but they are generous. The shoes are fine, attractive, no overbulky look of the rincon. I need a large size 9 with roomy toe box but not too wide in the heel. (9.5m are a tad too long and way too loose in the heel) Google said the Clifton is known for being wider and it is. Generally I like the fit, I can wear regular sport socks rather than the very thinnest socks I usually need for a comfortable fit. I use Heal That Pain orthotics which adds to my need for a roomier shoe. I'm not trilled that the tongue is connected to the sole with a wide piece of elastic on either side. I'm sure it keeps the tongue in place but it does squeeze my foot but not to the point where I need to cut it out like I did with another Hoka shoe. I wore them all day shopping the big box stores, 10k steps on concrete, no issues. My complaint is with Zappos, these shoes were returns and obviously worn outside, mud on the tread. The previous purchaser didn't even try. I would have returned if they had another pair in my size for the price, but they didn't. At least to top sides were clean.

I like the color of the shoes better in person then in the app. I’ve had the Gaviota 5 previously, so I knew it would fit well. It’s this style I get a 6.5, my normal shoe size is 7.

These fit just fine, but the heel drops just enough to be uncomfortable for anyone with plantar fasciitis. I was quite sorry as the heel and toe box fit great.

I love the Gaviotta 5 and are perfect for issues with my feet (wide and high arch). However, this is my third pair and the one place that breaks down before any other part of the shoe is the back counter. They start to break down and rip before I'm ready to replace the shoe. It has already started to occur on both shoes.

Everyday use and walking for fitness. I have an issue like Morton's neuroma so cushion and support are important to me. The color I purchased was not exactly how pictured. Product was a light green more than sand . Additionally I bought 1/2 size larger based on reviews.o

They're very uncomfortable in the toe box areas. I returned my first order of 9.5 for 10 and they are still too tight. I ordered this style for the advertised roomy toe box area due to hammer toes and Bunions. I'm not sure of what to do next. This is my first try out for HOKA brand.

This is my 10th pair of Hokas , they made running without shin pain possible again . Charging shipping at these high prices is bad business though .

I tried A LOT of shoes on before picking these. I guess I'm picky. These work. I'm a hairstylist and wanted something for support. I don't love the way they look but my feet and ankle feel supported. I hope they last awhile.

Perfect price for a perfect shoe! Only reason for a 4 star is the left shoe's fabric is faded in small areas.

Hokas run big so size down. I'm usually an 8, or sometimes a 7.5, but for these shoes I am a 7. Also, I have wide feet, and the Hokas work well for that. Good support, good cushioning. I'll admit that I prefer the feel of the OnCloud sneakers, but the squeaking made me crazy, so I'm a Hoka convert.

The Gaviota 5 has decent arch support for my high arches. The former style in Clifton 9 was perfect for my shape foot, for both exercising and wearing to work at hospital. But, in moving to the upgraded version in the Clifton 10 (and Clifton 9 GTX), I found very little arch support. The Gaviota 5 is super comfortable, stable, with good arch support for me.
