I have Charcot Marie Tooth which means I can't feel my feet so I clomp when I walk. These shoes help me not to clomp and walk correctly. I have gotten the orthotics from The Good Feet Store and these shoes make such a bigger difference!

I love these shoes for walking. They are very stable, comfortable and have a nice, cushioned sole for walking on pavement.

I mostly use these for walking and a bit of treadmill running. I have flat arches I was looking for a structured shoe that I could wear for almost anything. I love a wide toe box which is what brought me to Hoka First I ordered the Arahi6. I wanted to love them but they just didn't have the cush factor I was after. After reading and watching some reviews I swapped for the Gaviota5. I don't usually spend this much on shoes so I hope they hold up for a while. I chose the citrus glow color and they make me happy. I usually go between a 9 and 9.5 depending on the shoe. I got the 9.5 to be safe but I could easily have gone with the 9.

It's feel so comfortable when I wear them.

I just got but so far they are comfortable! Can't wait to walk and hike in them!

These shoes are like walking on clouds!!! I love the colors, I got the lime and blue ones! Such a great investment for walking.

I work in a nursing field , I work long hours in my feet Hoka help me with my plantar fasciitis . Very comfortable shoes I got lots of compliments in the style . I referred many of my coworkers to your site . I will be purchasing more hoka shoes , in the future for my family and myself

The Gaviota 5 provides more stability and comfort on pavement. So glad I got these shoes for walking and when I am on my feet a lot.

These shoes provide an amazing amount of cushion at the same time as stabilizing my heel. I use them for walking and they have helped my knee pain a lot!

Like the feel of the shoe. Good support and cushion.Wish they weren't so expensive so I could get a second pair and that the toe box was just a bit larger for bunions.

The Gaviota 5 is simply the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I actually keep them on all day. I truly feel like moving when I have them on. I think they also look great. I will never wear any other athletic shoe. I love the support they provide as well. Very pleased!

The Gaviota 5 has more cushion and more room in the toe box. It is a completely different shoe from the G 4.

Has the cushion and flexibility, while remaining stable, needed for someone with rheumatoid. Im a a chef and one my feet 12-16 hrs a day. I've been through many brands and spent touch money on shoes that don't follow through; this one actually works.

I love this shoe. It's got enough stability with just the right amount of cushion. The toe box is bigger than any Hoka shoe I have owned. Which was a nice surprise. I did not get a wide. Would highly recommend this shoe and the brand. I always go up half size in my shoes.

Feels like I'm walking on air. I don't have pain after 12 hour shifts and the wide toe box isn't as bulky as my other Hoka's

I've had my shoes for about two weeks, and I run in them, there is a big difference from my old shoes, and comfortable! They're great!

Plush, supportive, wide, overall quite comfortable! Feel like I'm walking on clouds. Difficult to find that combo for wide (D width) feet, but GAVIOTA 5 hits the mark.

After working out some times my feet started hurting on the outsides. I thought it would just heal on its own, but boy was I wrong! I finally decided to INVEST in my feet and bought this orthopedic shoe! Immediately putting them on I felt RELIEF!!! I know it may sound crazy, but now a couple weeks into wearing them I have no more pain! Everyone NEEDS a pair! So comfy and stylish!

Standing on my feet on concrete, these shoes are a Godsend. I've tried a lot of shoes and my Hoka's don't hurt my feet. I absolutely love them

I have Hokas for road, trail and now work. I am on my feet between 8-12 hours a day, and these Gaviotas offer a lot of support and cushion. They passed my " I didn't think about my feet once," test! Very happy!

I like this style so much I ordered another pair in a different color ( one for work , one for play!) The toebox is so roomy my little toes are happy.
