It is the only shoe/sneaker I can wear and stand at my job for 8 hours a day and walking my dogs.

Gaviota 5 has wider footbed than other HOKA style, fit great!

These are my first pair where I don't need inserts. They have excellent support. Always comfortable, I can wear them all day without feeling tired. Great for walking, jogging or even a long distance run. I am post-partum, and these are a game changer for my workout plan. The new colors are gorgeous, I call mine "unicorn" because they really evoke walking and running on clouds

I have wide feet. HOKA's wide width shoes have consistently fit my feet well. They also accommodate my inserts.

This shoe provides excellent support. It is extremely comfortable. I wear it to work out.

After having chemo and being off my feet for a few months, no shoe worked to allow me to feel comfortable walking. My ankle's always hurt. These shoes solved it! Pricey, but worth it. Good job Hoka!

Product is amazing, stable, comfortable! Great for walking and looks amazing.

The first best part is the arch support. The 2nd best part is the over-all cushion effect of the entire shoe bed. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis and this shoe has markedly improved my condition to very little or no pain.

I use the recovery shoes in my house and the walking shoes outdoors

I absolutely love these! This is the first time I have bought this style and I do love them. I love the color!! The fit is Great. True To Size and comfortable. I am on my feet all day and I highly recommed.

I love to walk! These shoes are super comfortable and supportive right out of the box and especially after 4-5 miles of pavement walking! I need a wide fit and the wide size is just right for me.

I'm a dog walker so I walk a LOT. Both of my ankles have been rolled at one point or another over the last few years. I have bunions so I was looking for something wide, cushioned, and with lots of stability. These are VERY stable - I've been wearing them for a week now and they have already saved me from an ankle roll. They are also VERY wide which is great for my bunions, however they kind of resemble duck bills . I wish I ordered a half-size smaller than my normal size because I have lots of toe room. That's probably just due to my wacky foot shape. I'm thinking about using orthotics with them. I'll definitely be keeping them and I'm interested to see how long they last.

Fit well and are very comfortable

My feet,legs and knees love these Gaviota 5s. I have been wearing them for 10 days now, walking, aerobics and at the gym with no issues.

I work in healthcare, on my feet all day. I had Clifton 7s for two years (loved them) and just got the Gaviota 5 to try out and they are so comfy! Very stable, lightweight and soft. I just had to get used to the wider base, not used to my feet looking that wide but I love them! I normally wear an 8 but ordered 7.5 and they fit perfectly.

I am new to the Hoka brand and my first purchase was for women's Clifton 9 wides. I decided to purchase a second pair of Gaviota 5 in wide 9. I received them and they were way wider than the Clifton 9 and had to return for a b width. Exchange went smoothly and expeditiously. I love the stability of the Gaviota when walking on hard surfaces.

I was very impressed with the new model because of how comfortable they are!

The last two versions of the Gaviotas had a narrower toe box that caused issues for me. I was thinking about changing to a different brand. Now I don't have to! I'm thrilled that the fit I loved so much is back.

I wear my shoes for work. I'm a dialysis tech. I'm on my feet 10-12 hours a day on a concrete floor. The cushion and support are awesome!

Still getting used to them but I think they are helping with some foot pain that I've been having (flat feet). I walk 3-4 miles a day. The edge around the front of the shoe seems a little excessive, wish that was a bit smaller. I like the design appearance a lot. I need thick walking socks with them.

So comfortable and make running easy

Just had spinal surgery about a month ago. These shoes are really an asset to walking and PT.

My podiatrist is 100% spot on with her HOKA recommendation. Amazing!
