These shoes are very comfortable and easy to walk in. You don't ever have to break them in you just put them on and start using them. Support my leg and back very well.

I have been breaking them in on shorter runs outside and they are so squishy and soft. I will never go back to the old shoes I used to wear.

Recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my feet, and these are the most comfortable and supportive shoes ever! I have seven pairs of Hokas, but this was my first purchase of the Gaviota 5s. These are the best! Spacious toe area, supportive and cushiony heel, super comfortable!

Am back on my feet after 2 ankle surgeries, and working 10-hour days in retail; these shoes offer the perfect amount of cushion and support to get me through the day with a minimal amount of pain.

Just received my new Gaviota. So comfortable & feels a little wider than my last pair which was a little tight. Love the extra cushioning too!

I love my new Hoka Gaviota shoes. I recently had foot surgery and this is the only shoe that my podiatrist will allow me to wear until it has been three months after my surgery. The shoes are roomy, in a good way, and provide a good arch support.

I bought a lot of expensive shoes, different brands to find the shoes that will help with my painful feet. My feet hurts a lot, I couldn't describe how agonizing after 7-8 hours of working and being with my feet all day. I was desperate and was buying more expensive shoes. I found this website by accident and tried researching about their shoes until I bought a pair, a second, a third, a fourth, I did not stop until I found the pair that works for me and voilathis graviota 5 is the only pair of shoes that I can work for longer hours without too much pain. Pain on my feet is still there but these shoes helped me a lot. I've been using regular sized shoes eversince but tried their wider shoes, it was weird at first to wear them but I got used to it and tremendously helped my achy feet. I never leave a review but this might help someone who is suffering like me. I will also try their Bondi 8 when some colors will be available in wide size. Thanks a lot HOKA.

I am 4 million years old. My feet hurt. My knees hurt. Everything hurts. Hokas are the only reason I am able to travel the world and do the things I love to do. Just bought the Gaviotas. They are my new dress Hokas. I have 3 other pairs so I can switch them out. If you could make them in regular shoes, I would buy them too. If you don't. I will buy them forever.

Walking and everyday use

These shoes were recommended to me by my physical therapist and foot doctor. They are wonderful. I have foot pain and they really help alleviate that tremendously. They are comfortable and have a lot of space for my feet which I need.

I love the colors. very comfortable, fits great.

I work as an STNA, and will be starting Nursing classes soon. I wouldn't wear anything else!! HOKAs have saved my back time and again!!!

I bought these after having foot surgery. My foot will be swollen for quite some time and the width provides a comfortable fit, even with a brace. Also, they are a very pretty color.

I wore my new Hoka shoes for the first time. No back pain and my feet didn't hurt. I am a believer.

I am a hairstylist and stand on my feet 7-8 hours a day, so these shoes instantly got me through a 7 hour day very nicely which has been wonderful feeling! Walking and standing in them suited the purpose for the purchase. Will buy more in the future.

I love the fit of these shoes, I can go all day with comfortable feet

I have only purchased Bondis for myself and my husband since 2015. But I decided to try the Gaviotas and I love them especially for walking long walks. The Gaviota has a wider toe box than the Bondi but not quite as much cushion (I take out the insole and put my own metatarsal and better arch support for my very flat feet in all shoes). The Bondi may have a bit more rocker sole than the Gaviota--just my personal feeling; I don't know that for a fact. I think because of the toe box, the Gaviota might run just a bit bigger than the Bondi, but I ordered my regular size and they are fine. We are doing a big walking trip at the end of January, so I am deciding which model of shoe to take.

I have had mine for a few months now and they are so comfortable for walking approx 4-5 miles a day. I no longer have the heel pain I was experiencing with other similar shoes. They have also held up great to being worn every day. I will be buying again!

I have had both hips replaced in the past twelve months, planned, and it has been amazing rejuvenation for me, but I needed shoes that increased by stability when standing or walking, so that I could really take advantage of the new hips. These shoes are great! I ordered my size in "wide" and these are most stable, yet totally plush, shoes I have ever had! I feel like, when I take a step, my foot is just solidly planted and not going anyplace, regardless of the terrain. I have really high arches, and the arch support is definitely adequate for my needs. LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!

I have been diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and these shoes have made a world of difference in my foot. I do t have any where near the pain I use to have.

Comfy fit. I'm on my feet all day and these definitely decrease my heel pain.
