I've been having major back and leg pain for a while, and upon a recommendation from a friend of mine, who is a ER nurse, I purchased a pair of these shoes to wear as a chaperone for a field trip for my children down to Disney World. I walked over 30 miles in 5 days and experienced none of my usual foot, knee or hip pain. They are super light weight and comfortable as well. Definitely worth the price!!! I may never buy another brand of athletic shoes again!

I'm in these for 9-10 hours a day, I am on my feet all day and when I get home my feet feel as good as I started out. My other sneakers my feet would be hurting by mid day. These sneakers are my holy grail!!!

I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for some time. I did a lot of research about what sneakers would be best, and everything pointed to HOKA Gaviota 5's. I have never purchased sneakers online before as I feel an in-person try on is better. I couldn't find these anywhere near me, so armed with the knowledge that HOKA backs up their products with a nice warranty I made the leap and ordered them. When I received them I am mediately try them on and could feel that my foot was being held any position that was different from normal. I worried this would create problems elsewhere but it hasn't. From day one I've been able to wear these every day all day without any foot pain at all! I love these and will definitely buy them again!

When the Bondi changed I was heart broken because it had been the only shoe my poor plantar feet could stand. After reading reviews from people who had found the Gaviota to be a good substitute I took a chance on it. So glad I did!! This is the second pair I've ordered so that I have a couple to rotate daily. I might even like it better than my old Bondi's. Love that even the regular width has a roomy toe box. I work in an er/urgent care and these have not failed me. I can do 12 hour shifts with them straight out of the box!

This is my third pairs of Gaviota 5. These are very comfortable. I'm on my feet all day they are an amazing. They fit like a glove. literally feels like you're walking on clouds. Love the look the fit, and the quality! The Best Walking Shoes I've Ever Worn!

Super comfy and cute. Love this color. Has excellent support/cushion. My feet is narrow so it feel little wide /I got a regular width.

Hoka was recommended to me by some who has the same issues I do. WOW!!! I now have proper posture and form when walking without trying! AMAZING TRULY! Just purchased Hoka sandals as well. True to size, light as a fearher as well!

I've never ordered shoes online because I can be a difficult fit. I was worried about the price as well as guessing at the right size and width. They were highly recommended to help with my foot pain as well as my knee pain. Long story shortafter about three weeks of daily wear, I can say these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever purchased. Glad I took the chance!!

I have been wearing Hoka shoes for the past 14 months due to plantar problems with my right foot. Hoka was recommended by my podiatrist. I have worn the Bondi and the Clifton, but the Gaviota may be the best for me. It has a roomy toe box and excellent support.

I have a high arch and these shoes are fantastic! They support my ankles and give me the arch support that I need to keep from hurting

These shoes are amazing! From the moment I put them on my knee, back and hip pain went away. No break in period needed, just put them on and off I went. Since getting these shoes a week ago, I have almost doubled my daily walking routine.

As a Nurse who is on my feet throughout the day, my feet don't hurt and feel achy. I have worn my Hoka WOMEN'S GAVIOTA 5 14-hour shift not once any pain. I 100% recommend this pair of Hoka WOMEN'S GAVIOTA 5 if you are on your feet for long work shift. The normal width has a long of room. I tried the wide width and way to wide.

I have plantar fascitis and Hoka Gaviota has been my rescue. I am also on my feet due to my profession and it gives me steady support and no feet pain. I have used other brands such as ASICS, Nike and Reebok. So far, this has been a breakthrough. Sticking with this and would definitely recommend.

This was a gift for a friend with feet issues. She is very happy with these Hoka shoes- very comfortable and supportive.

I have arthritic knees which caused me to have balance issues. I also have flat feet and use a corrective insert. This shoe has enabled me to use my inserts comfortably and allows my feet to have room within the shoe. These shoes are great for stability.
