They were a bit large bit great comfort and stability

I have the Bondi 8 and love them but I really LOVE the Gaviota 5. I have knee and arch issues, but don't notice them when wearing these shoes! The fit is great and the support is too. Purchased a 9 m which is my usual size.

I have worn Bondi's for years. Actually they are the only shoe I wear - even with dresses. I have them in many colors to match my outfits. I needed to replace my dark blue ones but the Bondi was sold out in my size. Desperate, I searched the website and found the color in the Gaviota 5. I had tried the Gaviota several years back but returned them because the support did not fit my foot and actually hurt. I read about the Gaviota 5 and it said it had been restructured and had more padding so I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did. They are so comfortable, nicely padded but most important they give great support. I find I wear them more than my Bondi's.

This is my first pair of Hokas. With size 14 FLAT feet and 250 lbs, I put all my shoes to a tremendous test. It's very difficult to find shoes that hold up well. They usually collapse to the inside within a short time frame rendering them painful and useless. So far, I have about 30 miles of walking in these Gaviotas, and they're great. Very comfortable. I've seen no signs of deterioration like I have in other maker's products.

Absolutely love these - I stand on my feet 13 hrs a day in the pharmacy and no foot or leg fatigue / pain whatsoever. Told my co-workers - and now we all wear HOKAS proudly. Worth every penny !!!

Excellent arch support. Really helped with torn foot tendon.

I'm in my late 60's so comfort and stability are at the top of my list of priorities. I'm still very active with things like golf and pickleball but I've given up on running as a means of exercise. These are becoming my everyday shoes unless we're dressing up for a social engagement. The fit true to size, European size 42 always seems to work best for me, which is an 8.5 for Hoka.

I've been a loyal Brooks customer for over a decade and almost my entire running career, this was my first pair of any running shoes outside of that brand. I injured my Achilles and felt that I needed more support in a shoe that my Brooks couldn't. I read many reviews for Achilles specific injuries and this kept ranking in the top 3, so I took the leap. I'm about two weeks in and these feel like a dream, I naturally have wider feet (I ordered the regular) and they feel perfect (if you have narrower feet, these might not be the right thing). Love the h frame and heel support for my Achilles in my runs, also LOVING the extra cushion on the toe box for my fore front running habit. Overall, very happy so far with the support the gaviota provides for my injury and keeping me on the trails/roads

My first time wearing a GAVIOTA 5 although I have gone through other brands of HOKA. The size11.5 which is my size felt as if it was a size12 on my feet. I compromised by purchasing thicker socks or just wearing double pairs. I luv firm uppers and this shoe was not it.

I purchased 5 different men's sneakers for my husband to try - too hard to find good shoes locally. So ordered them all online - Altra, Topo, New Balance, Merrel, and Hoka. He tried them all on and walked around the house trying them out. He liked the Altra and Hoka...but decided on this pair as his final selection. So I guess that means he liked them best! He walks about five miles a day and needed a bit more cushioning and support as he ages. He has walked in them all week and seems to be happy! thanks

Walking , I love my shoes, they are veery comfortable

These shoes are great for walking and fit my flat feet very well. Definitely will purchase more in the future.

I love this shoe! It wears well and supports my high arches.

Immediate change in recovery time for my feet! I run/walk with an over pronation and usually get a callus! I currently have one now, but will go to my podiatrist for removal! No pain when I run since changing to Hoka!

I walk 25-30 miles a week and these are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Little to no fatigue in my feet and calves.

These shoes are full of support and comfort. I purchased the 9.5 size, but will get the size 10 for wear of thicker socks. I can where these shoes everyday.I will purchase again.

I love the Gaviota, I have both the wide and normal and they both feel great on my feet for walking and running!

I have a couple pairs of Clifton 9 and really enjoy them. Because of problems with my heel tendon I purchased this style and absolutely love them! I even mentioned the to a shoe shopper in an department store and she tried them on and took a picture so she could order a pair.

I have problem feet from years in the restaurant industry. The Gaviota has great cushion and stability and makes walking so much easier for me.

I have hip and back problems. These shoes are comfortable and provide the stability I need.
