I love everything about this product - the stability, the colors, the light weight and the cushiony feel when I wear them. I did have to go down half a size but the return was free and easy and fast. It was what I expected from HOKA and they did not disappoint!

These are my go to everyday shoes for hiking, errands, walking, running. Glad these are waterproof. The proper size makes for comfy footwear. LLBean provided me with excellent customer service.

I always look for a thick forefoot when I'm looking for walking or hiking shoes. It's not easy! I also needed a waterproof shoe with good grip and I have finally found the shoe. It was a bit worrying though because I've always heard Hoka shoes were narrow but I don't find that to be the case with these shoes. They are perfect for my medium foot, which is on the wider side of medium than the narrow side. There is plenty of room in these shoes which is great for extended periods of walking or hiking. Comfortable right out of the box. Hurray! I do wish they came in a different color but at this point I need function over a color.

True to the size, eye catcher as everyone asks about them when walking in the streets.
Just love them!

I loved how light the shoe is, and comfortable, but I have narrow feet and there was just too much room even with thick socks. I had to return it.

The is a great hiking shoe! They are very comfortable & have ample space in the toe and there is no slippage in the heel. I am also pleased that they are gore-tex, although I have not yet put them to the wet test. They do run large. I am a tried and true size 10. Size 10 and 9.5 were too big for me. Size 9 fit just right.
I am very happy with Hoka return policy as well since the 10 and 9.5 were returned for free.
I gave this a 4 star review just because of the sizing being too large.
Overall though this is a great shoe so far.

Love the rounded toe and the color of these Anacapas, but they run smaller and narrower than other Hokas I've bought.

I am a Hoka devotee, and I purchased these for ankle support hiking on uneven terrain. I like the black on black color option, the quick lace at the top, waterproofing, and the comfortable tongue and ankle support. The grip is good, and even though it is not designed as a stability boot with the H frame I usually wear, the ankle support helped me feel sufficiently balanced and, after a knee replacement, I finally felt secure getting "out there" again. The women's 10.5 is the perfect length for me, which I purchased directly from Hoka (I tried on both the women's 10 and 11, as well as the men's 8.5 and 9 in a store). The only downside for me is the width. Despite the fairly generous toe box, the women's regular width is just a tad narrow for my foot with a hiking sock on. In particular, my left foot, which has multiple "issues", tolerated the boot, but was happy when I took it off. That's unusual, since it's still pretty happy at the end of the day with my go-to Gaviota 5 (men's 8.5). I'm within the return period and considering exchanging for the men's 9 and then wearing a heavier sock. I'm also going to try the Stinson 7, which has the trail grip and stable/plush combo, but doesn't have the GTX finish or mid-ankle support.

As a delivery driver, these boots are the best. However; I have noticed that they are not made to last. This is my second pair. I've had to send them in for an exchange due to the bottom "rubber" coming apart. I now see a slight tear in the newer pair. At this point they need to use gorilla glue for extra support.

I do not know why, but I really had trouble sizing this shoe correctly. I usually wear an 8.5-9 in Hoka. I ordered my normal size of 9 and they were HUGE. I had to double check they were Women's size. I ordered down to an 8.5 and they were still too long. Finally, the size 8 was the best fit, although I wish I had a "smidge" more toe room. My toes were not to the end of the shoe, but I would have been more comfortable with another millmeter. The 8.5 gave me too much roomy length.. I have never had sizing issues. Usually wear a 9, sometimes 8.5 depending, but never an 8. Strange. That being said, these are comfortable and supportive. Love the color. Only wish there was a bit more cushioning in the forefoot, but I am not hiking hundreds of miles in these either. Great shoe if you can figure out your size!

I am very happy with the way this hiking shoes perform. The only problem I had is that the left shoes it may have a defect on the side of the top lace hook and it bothers my skin. I was going to return it for that reason. They gladly will offer refund. But I figure to put long socks and fold them for extra cushion on that area where the defect picks and bother a bit.

I like it and especially like the tread but I am disappointed that it isn't as insanely comfortable as the waking shoe.
