Only logged 2 hikes in these so far but they've exceeded my expectations. Stayed dry and grippy on wet, icy NW trails. Plenty of room in the toe box even with thick socks.

So I bought these before reading the reviews and was worried while I waited for them to ship- I've always thought I had wider feet than most people. Apparently not, they're the perfect fit width wise for me and provide good arch support. I typically I wear 8.5 and that's what I got, so I would say they fit true to size.

I agree that these run slightly large if you're trying to wear thin cotton socks, but I will say that because they're waterproof, they are very sweaty unless you wear thicker wool socks with them and then they fit perfectly counterintuitive I know but trust me. I am wearing my regular size and it's perfect. Enough traction for snow and ice, I can run to catch a train extremely quickly, walking the dog is a walk in the park, and they're easy to slip on and off using the little strap in back. Super comdy! Good for both actual hiking and city life. 100% would buy again!

The shoes are just plain comfortable and cool...

I love the light weight of Hoku's, but this is a Christmas gift for my wife, so I can't say anything meaningful yet!

I work at a autopart warehouse for 10 hours a day so it is easy for shoes to get worn out and feel a bit uncomfortable but this is not the case for these shoes. I normally don't like the look of work shoes or tennis shoes in general but I love the look of these and I'm planning on wearing it out whenever I get the chance.

This was a birthday present for my daughter. She was thrilled with her shoes and said they were the most comfortable of any shoes she has ever owned

Great for my plantar fasciitis, not quite as soft as the HOKA Bondi but I can get out. My young daughter actually told me that I had on "cute shoes". That's not a normal comment.

I wear rockers for all my shoes, won't be able to walk if I didn't.. Hoka is top of my list. Loving the GXT hikers

Comfortable

Currently wearing a Cam boot on my left foot for stress fracture and was looking for a shoe to make me the same height on other foot - this was the solution so will save me back pain and issues and prevent walking lopsided!

Look small in my feet since am a big size I love that about it looks cute and more important is so comfortable

Got these shoes for my wife and she is loving them so far.

I walk hilly trails/roads every day. This shoe fits well and keeps my foot from sliding forward on steep downhills.

Can't wait for the cooler weather to take them out for a stroll

I loved how light the shoe is, and comfortable, but I have narrow feet and there was just too much room even with thick socks. I had to return it.

The is a great hiking shoe! They are very comfortable & have ample space in the toe and there is no slippage in the heel. I am also pleased that they are gore-tex, although I have not yet put them to the wet test. They do run large. I am a tried and true size 10. Size 10 and 9.5 were too big for me. Size 9 fit just right. I am very happy with Hoka return policy as well since the 10 and 9.5 were returned for free. I gave this a 4 star review just because of the sizing being too large. Overall though this is a great shoe so far.

Love the rounded toe and the color of these Anacapas, but they run smaller and narrower than other Hokas I've bought.

I am a Hoka devotee, and I purchased these for ankle support hiking on uneven terrain. I like the black on black color option, the quick lace at the top, waterproofing, and the comfortable tongue and ankle support. The grip is good, and even though it is not designed as a stability boot with the H frame I usually wear, the ankle support helped me feel sufficiently balanced and, after a knee replacement, I finally felt secure getting "out there" again. The women's 10.5 is the perfect length for me, which I purchased directly from Hoka (I tried on both the women's 10 and 11, as well as the men's 8.5 and 9 in a store). The only downside for me is the width. Despite the fairly generous toe box, the women's regular width is just a tad narrow for my foot with a hiking sock on. In particular, my left foot, which has multiple "issues", tolerated the boot, but was happy when I took it off. That's unusual, since it's still pretty happy at the end of the day with my go-to Gaviota 5 (men's 8.5). I'm within the return period and considering exchanging for the men's 9 and then wearing a heavier sock. I'm also going to try the Stinson 7, which has the trail grip and stable/plush combo, but doesn't have the GTX finish or mid-ankle support.

As a delivery driver, these boots are the best. However; I have noticed that they are not made to last. This is my second pair. I've had to send them in for an exchange due to the bottom "rubber" coming apart. I now see a slight tear in the newer pair. At this point they need to use gorilla glue for extra support.
