I really love this shoe. It's incredibly comfortable and nice. It has excellent cushioning and makes my runs very gentle on my joints and muscles. At the same time, the shoe feels lightweight thanks to the light material in the sole. I use the ASICS Gel Kayano 30 for long-distance runs and distance-run.

The Gel-Kayano 30 is cushioned well for walking and running but ironically it is not a good sneaker for standing on your feet even on a rugged floor. The glue was apparent around the front of the sneaker. The sneaker is very light on the feet and is appealing to the eye.

Back of shoe bottom sticks out too far and gets caught on steps, arch support is not enough, top of toe fabric is very thin

very comfortable but I bought a bigger size because is a little tigh

I will give these shoes a 4. I feel like the 29s were better. I have a pair of both right now and i way prefer the 29s.

I ordered the extra wide size because in the past I have ordered regular size & had to " break in" the sneaker. I still had a little pain to my feet with " breaking in" these too but subsided with use. I'm happy with my purchase & plan to stick with ASICS brand.

The only shoes I can wear for running but please add colors! There are 8 different blacks and 6 greys. Give us bright color options!

Run short,returning for a larger size.Love the color so hoping larger size solves the issue.Good cushioning.

I have a narrow foot and have a lot of trouble finding shoes that fit. I'm so glad Asics makes some styles in narrow and hope they continue to do so. My only complaint about the Gel-Kayano is the thick sole. It makes the shoe comfortable but stiff. Otherwise, love it.

Rating is more like 3.75. Asics is the only sports shoe that my narrow feet seem to like and I try to stick with the brand. But lately the narrow versions are running a bit wider than previous versions, so I wear an extra pair of socks, etc., to accommodate. Still a good solid, shock absorbing shoe, but may have to try other brands in the future.

I love the feel of the shoe but the sole is too thick, very bulky looking.

I love this shoes. Its fixing my overpronation. However, its quite heavy when running since its a stability shoe

The Kayano has changed too much. The pair I ordered hurt my instep something less cushion ones didnt do. I think ASICS should give you a choice of cushion preference one prefers. I do like that there is a choice in widths. I probably wont buy this model again.

Shoes are a little tight for being wide. I would go 1/2 up.

I have plantar fasciitis and morton's neuroma in one foot. I bought a half size larger than I usually wear and was able to fit my custom inserts in them, and the toe box was perfectly large for my toes to spread. The cushioning is phenomenal.

I really like the support and the sole on these shoes but my toes are too snug, both the wide and regular versions could do with a wider toe box.
