Customer service is ran by children who are unprofessional and play games with you. Their manager will make up policies on the spot that don't exist so they don't have to help you.

They made the shoe extra wide. I ordered the Medium, but the medium is way to wide for the normal foot.

I love Hokas but this shoe was bad. It was tight across the top. The padding across the top was not only inadequate but was delaminating. Something must have gone wrong at quality control. In any case, I will still buy Hoks insofar as the others that I own a great.

The shoe was poorly made. The top of the shoe near the laces was delaminating. This was a stunning and not pleasant suprise insofar as all the other Hoaks I have owned have been well made

I am not sure what Hoka was thinking when they made the Gaviota 5 so wide that I thought I accidentally purchased the wide size until I saw all of the reviews that they redesigned this shoe. TERRIBLE IDEA! They look like clown shoes now. So disappointed.

Gaviota 5s fell apart after wearing the shoe nine times. Hoka will do nothing for me , they said i used them for the wrong use . Dont buy these if you want to walk run or play in your yard. Thats the last pair of Hokas i will own.

I've been wearing Gaviota since they came out. Unfortunately the new update includes a huge toe area. My foot swims in this shoe. Going back and will wait until next year's model.

These shoes are for walking, which is what I do daily at work. At the end of the day, my heels hurt so bad it's unbearable.

I purchased this shoe for stability and it had not worked out for me. Severe foot pain after 4-5 runs. Compared to an Asics shoe, which doesnt cause me any pain.

It was an entire inch wider than my normal shoes. It looked really weird.

It's too cushioned and actually causes me a lot of discomfort. I have wide flat feet. I'm going back to brooks.

I developed knee pain wearing these shoes. I suspect it's due to the rocker design or the thick sole.

The heel is cut much lower than previous models, creating ankle instability.

I've worn Gaviotas for last 3 years. They've really helped my overpronation and my feet/legs don't hurt at the end of the day. I was really disappointed when I received the Gaviota 5s. First, the wide toe looks like Ronald McDonald shoes. Then, the support in the heel is gone. My foot sinks with each step causing strain on my knees. I'm returning for Arahi's. Hopefully they'll have the support I've been used to with HOKA.

As someone who wears a 4E, I was hopeful that when I saw the Gaviota 5 had a wider toe box than the G4 that it would fit me since I loved the feel of walking in the G4 but had to return due to the toe width. Even though I returned the G4, I still recommended it to others who wear 2E since it was comfortable and supportive otherwise. The G5 is a huge step back from the G4 in my opinion. Rather than feeling supportive and correcting my overpronation like in the G4, which I literally described to others as the feeling of gliding along, the G5 felt like I was walking in quicksand, additionally with pressure points being triggered in my feet as well as my knees. My hopes of a wider (4E) G4 were crushed by the G5. Huge step backwards. If you need 4E, can try New Balance Fresh Foam X 860v13, close to G4, but in 4E.

I like the product in the short time I have had it. The problem, in my opinion, is that there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Very sad.

I called HOKA and Valencia was very professional and courteous, mail exchange for Clifton 9's. I am so glad I bought through HOKA website with the 30 day exchange! Patrick Rodriguez HM1 USN, RN, BSN Emergency Services

This is my second pair of Hokas and I couldn't be more disappointed. They are the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on my feet. I will be returning them.

The first shoe that was delivered, the heel loop pulled out the first time I tried them on. The chat support told me that I should send them back and that a replacement would come in 3-4 weeks. Since I am training for a 10k and needed to replace my shoes, that was not going to work so they recommended that since it was a defect, I could order another pair and then return the originals when they arrived. The pair they sent was the wrong item so now I have to return those as well. Other than the manufacturing defect, I really like the shoes and they work great. The customer support policy and the consistency of product/shipping have room for improvement. I would recommend going to your local running store to make sure there are no defects when you purchase them and don't have the wrong shoe delivered.

I normally purchase your Bondi model and change them out every six months. Almost 2 years ago I had total knee replacement, and your Bondi model has been fantastic. Recently you sent me an advertisement .I normally purchase your Bondi model and change amount every six months. Almost 2 years ago, I had total knee replacement, and your body model has been fantastic. Recently you sent me an advertisement for this new model, and I decided to try it. It was the worst decision I've ever made. While using this new model, I was developing knee pain on my surgical knee for the first time since I recuperated from my surgery. I've stopped using this model and return back to my old Bondi model.
