Right out of the box they feel great. No break in needed. The cushion is great. Very comfortable didn't want to take them off.

Not only are these super comfortable, the styling is outstanding. They actually make my feet look smaller (which is tough to do when you wear a size 13).

Of my 6 pairs of Hoka's these are the most comfortable. Left over from Chemo, I still have neuropathy in my feet. I have found that Hokas are the best shoes and my new Gaviotas are the best yet!

I have not worn any other shoes since I first put on my new Hoka's. It's like walking on a supportive cloud!

These are the best Hoka shoes for me so far. They have the cushion I need along with the stability.

I've seen many people wearing Hoka footwear and they all say how amazing they feel while doing so. I've had foot, knee and back pain for years. Within the first day of wearing my Gaviota 5's, I felt relief.

First impression was a strange heel feeling, like lower than the rest. After a few minutes of walking, it felt more normal and comfortable. Only one suggestion. I have not purchased any shoes in the last 15 years with laces. Old arthritic fingers really hate laces. Please work on a pair of these shoes like these with Velcro closure. Thanks.

Stability is great!

I used to be a Bondi ,7, 8 man, and Arahi 6, so i decided to go for something new. They didn't fail me, I work 12 hours a day , when I get home, I don't have any foot soreness or aches from standing and walking periodically throughout the day. Ill BE BUYING MORE COLORS SOON!!! I originally wear a 11 but I always buy my work shoes a half a size bigger.

This purchase is one of the best made. I have had a Total Ankle Replacement. I have tried many different shoes styles. The HOKA Graviota was a tremendous help beginning the 1st day wearing. It was unbelievably supportive, comfortable and no pain. I have ordered. another pair.

The Best walking shoe for me.

Absolutely the best shoe I wear. I have two models of the Gaviota 5. I have had ankle pain for several years, surgery, follow-ups, etc with 2 different specialists. The pain often prevents me from taking walks more than a few minutes. These shoes, somehow, eliminate most of my ankle pain. Now I can walk without restrictions and comfortably. Worth every penny!

I really like the shoes, and they do for me what I need with my balance issues. But I wish the loop on the back was navy and the part of the sole that shows on the front was a shade of blue that goes with the rest of the shoe. But these are simply stylistic issues. The important thing is that the shoe works for my needs!!

Have tried the Bondi series which were great but I wanted something with a little more stability along with the plushness of the Bondi. The Gaviota 5 fit the bill!

I have really high arch's so it's not surprising I need a little more support. But the shoes are really better than off the rack I have had before.

So light and comfortable right out of box .

I have worn the Arahi for the past few years and never had any issues. However, I tried on the Arahi 7 and found it became more narrow and tighter around the toe box. In fact, I normally take a size 9.5 and had to go up to a size 10 for the Arahi. I tried on the Gaviota size 9.5, and they fit perfectly. The shoe is a bit bigger. After a few days of walking a few miles each day, plus up and down hills I found the Gaviota to provide great stability, lots of nice cushion and a great comfortable fit. They are a joy to walk in. I was apprehensive about spending so much money on a running shoe, but I have to admit these are the best shoes I have ever owned, and they are worth the price.
