I recently had major orthopedic surgery on my left knee and was looking for a stable and comfortable shoe as I work in a hospital. I'm on my feet for most of the day. I walk between 10k to 15k steps a day. These shoes are like walking on clouds & are very stable. I have read many reviews on this product which people were saying that the toe box was very roomy and they didn't like it, I have flat feet and the extra room is Great! I will be buying another pair of these in another color soon.

A great pair of shoes. Comfortable and durable. I'm a big guy (275 lbs) and put a lot of miles on them (5 miles per day) and with these shoes my feet and legs feel great.

I need a shoe that can support my feet, that is super stable, and most of all, comfortable to wear all day. I use these Gaviota 5's every day as my daily shoe for walking everywhere. This is probably my 5th pair of Gaviotas. I'm hooked on them. And I love the color of my latest pair - a nice bright orange. They go with everything. Orange is the new black!

Finally found a perfect shoe for my overpronation & knee pain. This allows me to do my brisk walks daily (3 miles through hilly terrain on hard pavements). Also perfect for daily routines.

I am not a runner. Recently had knee surgery and have tried all the major brands looking for a supremely comfortable shoe. This is it! I am very active and walk/hike regularly. Thanks Hoka for designing a shoe that maps the shape of the human foot! The extra room for your foot to splayis a game changer.

Comfortable responsive shoe, just like my Bondi 7's but even more stable.

Great, Walking in a cloud

I've been wearing Hokas for a few years now and my feet thank me. My feet often hurt, I can't wear most shoes so my hokas are my go to footwear. I returned a pair recently and the process was incredibly easy. Was notified when the old pair was received, amount of credit I was given, confirmation of my new order and I received a new pair within a few days of ordering. The process couldn't have been easier. I've been wearing my new gaviota 5 for a few weeks now and believe I have found my favorites. I'm a walker and these give me the comfort and cushion I need.

Hadn't run in over a year due to heel pain, plantar fasciitis. Arch supports helped but the gaviota 5's were like a cure. I was able to phase out using my arch support with them and I can run everyday without foot problems! It's been great for my health and my overall life to move freely with no foot pain! I ended up buying the whole hoka orthopedic lineup with flips and recovery slides for around the house etc. One thing to be aware of is they seem purpose built for road running. The bottoms are mostly foam and mine were worn down to be flat and smooth within ~50 miles of running. The soles are almost comically wide like a snow shoe. But like I said, the fact that I can run again is worth anything to me.

Love my Gaviota 5's!!! This is my third pair of Hoka's and these are by far the best. First of all they look great - very stylish - I've already received multiple compliments about them. But most importantly, they are extremely comfortable and supportive. I walk 4-5 miles a day and they are the best structured walking shoe I have ever had. I highly recommend them!

I had previously bought two other pairs of Gaviota 5 shoes and although the shoes fit great, both pair had shoelaces that were much, much too long, like 5 inches too long. I called Support but they were no help and told me to go buy some shoelaces. I could replace the laces in one pair because they were standard black, but couldn't in the other pair because they were not a standard color blue. I took a chance on these new shoes and they came with regular size shoelaces and they fit and work great.

It is perfect fit and soft inside and it is a good product for jogging , running etc and standing long hours too . It's worth the money .

My first pair of hokas. My first of many! Super happy with my purchase.

Perfect fit for me, a woman, with a C width. I think I'll stick to the guys shoes from now on. I like this model much better than Bondi 8. In fact it fits like the Bondi 7, not quite as plush but still very good.

Second pair of Hoka shoes. First were Bondi 8 and they were the best shoes I have ever owned. These make the Bondi look bad they are so comfortable. I over pronate and have never owned a supportive shoe. This has all of the support but you would never know by how comfortable they are.

I run on a not so smooth trail with old knees. These are the best ever. My 2nd pair.

I do a lot of Rucking and some running. These shoes fixed my knee issues. It also helped my plantar fasciitis!! This is my second pair and I absolutely love them.

I don't run much, too busy working. With my previous shoes , since I'm on my feet all day at work, about half way through my day, my feet would ache very bad. Now i can make it all and no pain. When i can i will get another pair.

I had to try 2 other pair of shoes. First to shorr, 2 nd too wide. All three same shoe. Believe I got the fit that works. I walk 6 to 8 miles on 10" thick concrete at National Museum of Military Vehicles (NMMV) in Dubois, WY. Age 70. Love my Hoka's!

Great shoe. I'm flat footed and break down shoes quickly. Not these, and after six months going strong.
