I have owned Clifton's and Bondi'e for years. The Gaviota is different, for me it feels like a wider platform and a bit softer. Life all Hoka's very comfortable but this one seems to be the most of the group.

Terrific shoes. Had ruptured achilles tendon 2 years ago. My doctor suggested hoka and I have purchased 3 pair since then.

I have two pair, one is for everyday use and the other is to wear with dark blue jeans. I am recovering from a dislocated, broken ankle. The Gaviota 5 provide great stability and support for my ankle. They are good looking shoes and I get a lot of complements on the shoes.

I have been enjoying my Gaviota 5 running shoes. I think that I have been over-doing my runs, so perhaps one lesson is that the shoes are so comfortable that you can run too long in them.

Within a dozen steps, I knew these were the perfect shoes for my pronating old feet. Long walks are something I now look forward with a smile. Great shoes, great company to do business with.

I volunteer at a children's hospital and I do a lot of walking. These shoes feels like I am walking on air. I will probably buy another pair.

I use the sneakers primarily for walking and the are very comfortable

I wear this shoe to the gym and I do cardio, weights, and HIIT workouts and this shoe handles it all! The Gaviota provides support and comfort for all of these activities.

These shoes have been a blessing being on my feet 10-12 hours a day! No foot or lingering leg pain at the end of the day what so ever! Just ordered my second pair in 3 months for personal/home use! Thank you, HOKA for creating a customer for life!

The Gaviota are by far the best hoka she's I own, and I have several different models, they cover my feet very well, don't slip at the ankle. They clean up well and I normally need wide but I don't with these.

I love the wider toe box of these shoes. I've never had a blister with these shoes. This is my third pair of Gaviota 5. I only wish that I could get more than 300 miles on them.

Unreal cushion and support. Prior to finding these wonderful sneakers I was unable to walk more than 1/2 a mile without lower lumbar and hip pain. Now I can walk endless miles. For me, these shoes were a life changer. I can't comment on longevity as I've only been wearing these for the last 3 weeks but they appear to be holding up very well. Even if I had to purchase a new pair every 4 months I would still be a customer for life.

Fit perfect and so comfortable. This is my 3rd pair. On my feet all day at work and usually my feet hurt until I started wearing this brand.

I recently had major orthopedic surgery on my left knee and was looking for a stable and comfortable shoe as I work in a hospital. I'm on my feet for most of the day. I walk between 10k to 15k steps a day. These shoes are like walking on clouds & are very stable. I have read many reviews on this product which people were saying that the toe box was very roomy and they didn't like it, I have flat feet and the extra room is Great! I will be buying another pair of these in another color soon.

A great pair of shoes. Comfortable and durable. I'm a big guy (275 lbs) and put a lot of miles on them (5 miles per day) and with these shoes my feet and legs feel great.

I need a shoe that can support my feet, that is super stable, and most of all, comfortable to wear all day. I use these Gaviota 5's every day as my daily shoe for walking everywhere. This is probably my 5th pair of Gaviotas. I'm hooked on them. And I love the color of my latest pair - a nice bright orange. They go with everything. Orange is the new black!

Finally found a perfect shoe for my overpronation & knee pain. This allows me to do my brisk walks daily (3 miles through hilly terrain on hard pavements). Also perfect for daily routines.

I am not a runner. Recently had knee surgery and have tried all the major brands looking for a supremely comfortable shoe. This is it! I am very active and walk/hike regularly. Thanks Hoka for designing a shoe that maps the shape of the human foot! The extra room for your foot to splayis a game changer.

Comfortable responsive shoe, just like my Bondi 7's but even more stable.
