I live in my Hokas. They make my feet and achiles feel so much better. I also love that they are wide enough. This is the only brand of shoe I don't need to order in a wide size, because the average width is wide enough for me. I only wish there were some more neutral color options like tan, since I wear them all the time, even at work with my business clothes.

I have tried several styles of Hoka and this is my very favorite walking, everyday shoe. I now have it in three colors so I rotate them and keep going!

I bought these for my elderly Mother. I discovered Hoka last year when I started getting a severe case of Plantar Fasciitis and loved the stability of the shoes. I have 3 pair now and decided Mom needed at least one pair as well! She loves them! We'll be ordering more as she has now promised to get rid of all of her other shoes!

I tried many. After bunion surgery, these are perfection. I tried other brands and even other Hokas. The wide toe box and foam plus the H frame can't be beat. I live in fear these will be re-vamped one day

I tend to pronate when I walk and I have a spot on the bottom of my big toe that becomes tender when I walk. My podiatrist recommended Hoka Stability shoes. I chose the Gaviota 5. I absolutely love the fit and stability they provide. I can once again walk without pain. This is my third pair. I won't wear any other brand.

The Gaviota 5 shoes have just the right height for me and the toe box is a bit wider so I don't have to worry about pain from my bunion rubbing on the shoe like other brands. I order a half size up as I was told by an podiatrist and it works beautifully. I'm a fast walker and not a runner and these shoes work well.

I got this for my husband because he has hardly no feeling in his legs and needs all the stability he can get. We are not rich by any means but this was money we'll spent. Very light on his feet and he does have more stability. So thank you for the great shoes!

I use these for walking. They fit my feet perfectly with the special insert I use. There are regular width, and I have wide feet, but I like how they fit. I had worked with one of your specialists on which would be best.

My ankle was hurting to a point I was limping. I've started walking again and have no ankle pain. This was especially important to me since I am going to Europe for 2 weeks and have signed up for a lot of walking tours.

This shoe feels and fits me just right. After buying several other HOKA s and returning them. The soles are comfortable as is the top end. Not all hokas fit the same. HOKA needs to do a better job describing their products. For example, the Gaviota 5 fits like A Bondi. Both have "plush" soles but the Gaviota is firmer. The Bondi is too squishy. I wear 10.5 but have to size up to 11 to have room in the toe box. I don't have wide feet but a 10.5 wide still squeezes my toes together. Frustrated after much trial and error, I got my answer about fit from ChatGPT. HOKA should have this info on the website, seriously!

So comfortable every time I buy Hokas. They have ample room in the toe box which I need because I walk 5 miles every day. My toes are happy.

I work in a warehouse and I'm walking for 8 - 10 hours each day. I had pain in my ankles, arches in my feet and the entire bottom of my feet. I tried wearing different brands of shoes, insoles and ankle wraps. I bought these Hokas and I feel like I'm walking on clouds. I feel like I have bounce in my every step. The wide toe area keeps my feet from feeling cramped.
I have recommended Hoka to a few of my coworkers.
Purchasing these shoes was money well spent.

These shoes are perfect for my needs. I was looking for an all-around shoe that would provide stability and cushioning.
I have a broken sesamoid at the ball of my foot, and a broken bone in my ankle (a result of what I thought was a sprain that never healed). I am aware surgery will be the only option to heal my pain, but until then, I needed cushioned, stable, supportive shoes with ample room for my toes.
I took the shoe finder quiz and it led me here. I put them on and never wanted to take them off. They take all the pressure off the ball, and prevent my ankles from rolling outward, reducing strain on my ankle ligament. I finally am feeling some pain relief from injuries that have been bothering me for far too long.
If you suffer from similar ailments, and are on the fence, these come with my highest recommendation.

I had plantar fasciitis and bone spur removal on both feet and ankle surgery two months ago. These shoes are comfortable, cushy but stable with nice arch support. They look so wide on me that my little feet look like Fred Flintstone feet in them but I love them

I was an avid new balance customer the last decade but the last heat I switched to hoka Bondi. (I've bought 8 pairs in the last year, I blow through my shoes at work) I thought I Couldn't have been more satisfied until I recently tried these gavita 5's! Love them! I'm a massage therapist and on my feet all day I also have runners knee/patella tracking issues and these shoes have balanced out the stability I was lacking and I have no knee issues since. Thanks hoka!

I have a very high arches,2 fractured sesemoide bones and require a stability shoe (most people should wear a shoe with good stability). The Gaviota 5 offers the soft underfoot feel I want, plus stability to prevent over pronation.

I have flat feet and needed a wider shoe without going too wide, and it's perfect! It's sooo comfy, I feel like I'm not wearing shoes at times. I upgraded from the Rincon (still a great shoe I would recommend if this one is too pricey) to this one .
