I have been buying Hoka for hunting for serval years. They have been great. But not u have change the cushion blew out a pair of breeze in 2 months. Just bought a pair of Anacapa 2 mid. I can tell already they won't last long. Please bring back your cushion like before. Like I think they where Khan. Also love the back of both breeze and Anacapa. That's why I didn't purchase the other brands Also Anacapa are so freaking load too

I do not understand the complexity behind the lacing system on these boots and never found an approach that comfortably supports my feet. Why was it necessary to make the laces so difficult to use?

This shoe did wonderfully as a hiker until things got wet. I spent a week with wet feet in the PNW. The grip and comfort of the shoe are fantastic. Unfortunately I would not buy this again because of the lack of breathability of the GTX combined with the lack of waterproofness, also the shoe felt narrow and would benefit from added space in the toebox as well.

3rd pair of HOLA shoes purchased. This boot runs a half size small. Ordered same size as my Clifton 9's initially. Exchange process for 1/2 size larger was quick. Unfortunately one of the side eyelets broke when lacing them for the first time. Contacted HOKA to lead turn a second exchange due to inability to initiate the second exchange on website. I was told to repurchase and work a return through that order. Not impressed unfortunately. Hopefully third time is a charm.

To be fair these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. But I did a 50 mile hike in Peru and the shoes had a hole in them after that. I think that it's shameful to have a shoe that is branded as a hiking shoe and can't even last 50 miles. They need to have a better and more durable design.

I only had these boots for a week and wore them 3 times and the metal top hook popped out while tying the boot. As much as these boots cost the the quality should be much better. The hook shouldn't be popping out after only 3 wears.

I have 2 other pairs of Hoka shoes that are GREAT! However, this shoe lacks all of the comfortable features that make my other Hokas so great. The only way I was able to wear them at all was to add an insole and a heel pad. I was hoping for the same "walking on air" feeling that I get from my other Hokas but it is NOT there. I would NOT purchase this shoe again.

I have had this pair of shoes for under a month, not wearing them everyday, and the laces have already frayed and the outer core has separated from the inner core of the lace on both sides. I think the laces alignment guide third down from the top is to sharp. This style needs a redesign.

I broke these in over several weeks before doing a 48-50km 4 day hike in the Snowy Mountains last weekend. First day was very short, 7 ish kms. The second day was about 13km and when we arrived, I had blister generated by the strange fit of the insole that ran in a thin line all the way down the arch of my right foot. On the 3rd day, I taped that up, but it continued to rub and by the end of that day, I had a matching blister down the inside of my left foot. It was very strange and very narrow. It was disappointing because I wanted to replace my heavier hiking shoes with these, but they are simply not suitable for long distance hiking while carrying a heavy load. The fit on a day to day basis is comfortable, but the upper, cleated lacing system is hard to get right with the tongue fit. That's a minor annoyance.

I wish I could leave a 5 start review but after walking for 2 hours on wet rainy terrain, the "waterproofness" of these boots vanished. Your feet WILL get soaked.

These boots are super comfortable and makes hiking much easier on the knees and joints and my feet definitely felt less sore and tired versus wearing my Salomons. That being said, these boots have serious durability issues. My boots didnt even last me a season before I returned them. The lugs on the bottom of the boot were peeling off, and in the arech area of the boot, its not even rubber, its foam. Same with the lowers, its alllll foam that gets torn to shreds. These boots are good for easier trails and thats pretty much about it. If you are hiking anything remotely rough, fgind something with a little more durability. These boots ARE NOT worth the extremely steep price, youre paying for the brand.

My Hoka purchases prior to this last pair are and still are I.M.O. are some of the most comfortable shoes on the planet. These not so much. I'm very disappointed. I work 12 hour shifts in law enforcement. I have boots that are 5 plus years old more comfortable than these lasted pair.

Used for hiking. Shoe is comfortable for a couple miles but then shoelaces design was hurting the front of my feet and I just had to undo the laces. Plus the slanted design just allow for dirt to get into the shoe nonstop, and even if you wear shoe gaiters, they won't work cause of the slanted design. Not mention that it gave me some blisters but I believe that's was all de dirty that constantly kept getting inside.

second day of wearing boot and it starts squeaking, and this is what the warranty experts told me. They would have denied as squeaking of the boots would not be considered a manufacturing defect. apparently a squeaking new boot is normal.

My husband wore these boots for 4 months and the shoes tore away from sole. Hoka said that was normal wear and wouldn't replace or give my money back.

This hiking boot would be fantastic for flat ground in a forest, but that's where it ends. This boot will get you injured on a mountain. I bought these a while back and just pulled them out and did two hikes in Arizona. They perform great on flat ground, but once you climb up anything getting back down will become an adventure. The issue is they DO NOT hold your foot with any stability above the sole. They are grippy but they compress so badly if you put any downhill weight on them. The grip holds the rock then the boot compresses and the upper is so soft your entire foot starts to roll. This is very dangerous, and they need to put a disclaimer on them. They are NOT for desert hiking with elevation gain! I have made some videos to warm the public of the dangers of this boot. My pair the toe is also starting to unglue, after two hikes. Do not get injured with this product. This is clearly a poor attempt at a running shoe company trying to make an outdoor boot.

Laces broke within the first month. Then the shoes completely deteriorated in 10 months. The top peeled back and the sole peeled away under normal use. HOKA would not warranty this as they said it was normal. First and last pair of HOKA's I ever buy.
