This is possibly the 5th Warm-Up Jacket I have ordered for my husband. Tough, warm and durable.

Have had one of these for years. It is a great 30-50 degree jacket. Highly recommend. Fits well, well constructed, pockets where you need them, and wind and water resistant. Style has not changed in quite a while, and I hope it doesn't.

This jacket was a very needed replacement for an older LL Bean warmup jacket. The fit is perfect, and it is warm without being heavy, or bulky. Perfect for three seasons.

Upon graduating from the Univ. of IL I enlisted in the Marines as a private. Best thing I've ever done in my life. As the years past I always looked for a civilian jacket that I would ID with a Marine identification, but never found one to my liking. I saw the Warm-Up Jacket in a Bean store and loved it. I put a small Marine emblem on the left front high up and a circular Eagle, Globe and Anchor on the back. It is beyond belief how many former men who served in the Corps stop me to wish me a 'Semper Fi'. I buy a small Marine Corps/American flag lapel pin and give them as a gift to every Marine I meet. I am sure I've passed out 2 or 3 hundred of them and only met one jerk in all that time. I guess even the Corps has one or two of those. The camaraderie that this jacket has brought me simply can't be measured. I put a Bean fleece as a layer under it and I've only hit 1 or 2 days where I had to wear a cold weather Bean jacket due to the severe cold. I bought a 2nd jacket today in a khaki type color and will dress it with the emblems in same way. What other color would an old Marine buy other than khaki? 5 stars twice this jacket and for the Marine Corps. My thanks to all those who served this great country,

My husband wanted a lighter jacket than a down jacket so this is the one I bought him and he loves it. Great color green. Wears it mostly in fall, winter and spring.

This is a perfect jacket for the in-between times when it's not quite cold enough for my pea coat. It fits well and is quite comfortable. And it looks great!

Love this jacket! Fits perfectly, is comfortable, and keeps me warm in cool weather. It hangs in the closet along side my cold weather L.L.Bean Jacket that is going on 40 years old!

I had one of these back in the 80s which I loved. It's great to see that it's still available with basically no changes. If anything, I'd say the material might be a little bit more rugged and waterproof than before. It's a great lightweight but surprisingly warm jacket that can take the wear and tear of everyday use. My wife and kids tease me about wearing an "old man" jacket, but I think it looks better than all the ubiquitous puffy down jackets and will be making a comeback to mainstream fashion.

Purchased for my husbands birthday -- he was thrilled! Nice and warm though not heavy, Perfect length - does not bunch up in the car. I am sure he will get years of wear out of this jacket. BTW - this replaces one given to him by my father and he wore it for 25 years!! It was barely worn except the elastic at the bottom had stretched over the years. How many jackets from other stores last that long?

Great jacket for spring & fall weather. Nicely warm for early winter, too warm for summer.
