This jacket is great for Fall and Winter days. It's snug at the waistline to ensure cold air doesn't get in. I'd recommend this jacket to a friend 10/10 times.

I have previously purchase two of these jackets, as they are getting quite old the elastic cuffs are beginning to show their age, I insisted on another LL Bean coat. The fit, quality and warmth cannot be beat...the zippers work effortlessly...the lining doesn't pill and the style is classic. This is my go to jacket, good for casual or dressy occasions well built and sharp appearance...it's got it all.

I absolutely love this jacket! I did tons of research beforehand, read reviews, etc and looked everywhere for the style of jacket I wanted.....I even bought a competitor's brand but returned it because it didn't work out. Then I found this jacket and it was perfect. It had the right fit, super warm, comfortable and stylish - exactly what I wanted and more. With very simple and effective features. Plus everything LL Bean makes is high quality and durable. I hope they continue to sell this jacket exactly as-is. If I had any minor critique, it would be to make the interior (Thinsulate) color charcoal or black to match the exterior trim color....I just prefer the look of a darker interior shell color. The price of the jacket was also higher than other brands for a similar item - but I didn't mind because this jacket is built to last. This is a terrific jacket and I highly recommend it!

Had to replace my old warm up jacket, the zipper broke down after 10 years of 3 season wear. New jacket is great. Warm, windbreaker, rain jacket. I will never be without one.

I have had this for 3 months. This jacket is great for those who are moving around and in and out of the car and the house. The jacket falls across the belt so it's good for sitting and its not too puffy for in the car. The collar is great for blocking the wind and the elastic cuffs keep the cold out. I wouldn't wear this if i had to sit outside in sub 20*F but when active it does the job. Above 20 it should serve well enough. On top of all that it looks fantastic (one friend called very "fatherly"). Its versatile enough to handle semi-professional to casual settings especially in the navy I have. My one con is that the sleeves were a little bit long on me but not bad enough to make me want to return it. I generally fall between a Large or XL and went XL for this so i could have the option to layer underneath.

Fit well, comfortable, good quality. Perfect weight

Good warmth in broad range of temperatures while walking the dog. Fit is great, not restrictive but not huge plus room for midlayer < 45F. Tall collar is fantastic. Also good for the boat. Best jacket ever!
