Great 3 in 1 jacket. Light weight and warm. I'm not personally a fan of hoods, even the tuck away kind, I always feel the bulk of it around my neck.

It's great but they used to sell one with a fleece that I liked better. That fleece had linings behind the pockets that could be used for additional pockets and an inside zippered pocket that was great for holding keys, a credit card, a few bucks, or a phone.

Great 2-in-1jacket. I took it on a cruise to Alaska i worked out fine. It was great for morning chills, and its water repellancy worked in the daily rains. The only issue I had with the jacket was that the fleece lining would grab my shirt and make it difficult to take the jacket off.

All in all, its a great 3 in 1 jacket. On its own, the fleece is warm and comfortable, and the raincoat is quite nice as well, with a hardy build and nice pockets. Together, it makes a very warm and weather-resistant jacket that is great for cold weather. However, I do have two issues. Firstly, as many others have already pointed out, the combined jacket is hard to get on when the fleece is buttoned into it, as the fleece tends to shift around under the coat, and is somewhat tight. Additionally- the thing is huge! Im 5'5, reviewing a small, (Smalls from L.L Bean tend to fit me quite well) and the raincoat shell is almost awkwardly big. Thats okay for me, as I don't mind wearing larger than normal coats, but seriously, if you're shorter than 5'7 or so, even a small will probably fit big on you in my experience. Also, the fleece's sleeves are a little long, but its no dealbreaker, as its quite nice otherwise. L.L Bean, please consider adding an XS size,

Years ago I had a 3 in 1 jacket and wanted to get new one. This is a quality jacket. It has a large zipper, side pockets that zip and a hood. The fleece inside even has zipper pockets. I consider it more of a 30 and 40 degree jacket, The only issue is, as others have noted, are the sleeves. It is almost impossible to wear with a light sweater or fleece because the sleeves get caught and stuck when trying to put it on. The sleeves also come through the end when putting the jacket out, so plan on adjusting it once you have your arms in it. If they could just make teflon coated fleece, it might be perfect.

The jacket is warm. My husband does have a hard time putting on the jacket, the sleeves seem to slide. Looks great on him.

I would have liked double zippers to allow freedom of movement and when sitting down to drive. Jacket does keep you very warm in cold weather.

the jacket is fine. it is the liner that will not stay in place. it is fabric and it clings to my arms when i take the jacket off. the loops used to hold the liner in place are already broken. the liner needs fabric that will allow the arms to come out of the sleeves easily. right now it is a fight to pull the arms out and then to re-position the liner inside the jacket sleeves.

A nicely styled jacket that fits and feels comfortable on. I agree with many other reviews that the liner needs some improvement. Maybe a liner that had a more sweater like cuff would help. Personally, I find it to be a minor issue but needs more thought. I would recommend this jacket on style and fit. I cannot comment on warmed until the temperature gets below 20 degrees.

This coat is very warm, repels water nicely. I would have given it a 5 star review but the fleece inner jacket catch's my clothing, pulls the sleeves out and is difficult to get on. Once on, its a fantastic coat. I intend to try some static guard to see if that helps.

The jacket is wonderful and I really liked the design but the sizes run smaller. I wear XL but it was too snug. I had to return. Get a size bigger if you like this.

Great fall and spring jacket for the northeast. Issue mentioned by others about the sleeves when you first put it on is slightly annoying, but it adjusts on its own pretty quickly. Overall very happy with the versatility!

Very nice jacket, sharp looking. Haven't worn it in cold weather yet, but looking at the construction I feel it will be warm. One thing to be aware of, I ordered an XL, the size of all my other coats, but it was much too small. Had to return it for an XXL. Had my son try it on too, he's always been an XL, but the XXL fit him nicely. He's 6' 1", 190 lbs. He liked how he could slide his arm and hand in and out easily, without pulling the liner with it.

This jacket was returned because of a defect. The exchange will be sent to my grandson at his college. He said he liked the jacket after trying it on. It's a good all-around jacket. LLBean is wonderful when it comes to returning merchandise.

This is my second winter with this jacket and it's a solid performer. It's great for temperatures 15 deg to 45 deg, but only if you're active at the lower end of that temp range. That's what I expected, no complaints there. It's also very solidly constructed, also what I expected. The shell is waterproof and like most waterproof shells benefits from being washed once a year with a gentle detergent such as nikwax to remove dirt and grime and restore the water beading. The one big miss involves the fleece layer. The sleeves don't have any smooth lining in them, so it's very difficult to pull the jacket on without pushing the fleece sleeves out of the shell sleeves. It's a winter jacket, so I only wear it with long sleeves, this is a big oversight and not what I expect from ll bean. All of the other aspects of this jacket are excellent. If that issue was fixed, it would be a 5 star product for me.

Don't really like the inner jacket- too bulky. My son wears the outer jacket when its not too cold.

The felt liner sticks to sleeves of shirts. When you put ON, it pulls the liner out past the shell cuffs and when you try to take jacket OFF, again, fabric of shirtsleeves sticks. I purchased in 2019 and have worn no more than 3x and opted for fleece-lined warm ups instead.

This is a 3 in 1 jacket with the innermost layer a removable fleece layer. This layer is extremely bulky which makes it difficult to put it on. I would think that putting any additional layer underneath would be nearly impossible. I returned it and bought the Bean primaloft ski jacket and It is great.

I returned this jacket only because the sleeves were to skinny. When I put the jacket on while wearing only a T-shirt it fit great, but when I tried the jacket on while wearing a hoodie I couldn't get the jacket on due to the sleeves of my hoodie rolling up. I layer in the winter (like most people) so the sleeves need to be looser to allow for the additional layers. I would have loved to kept this jacket otherwise.

The jacket could use a way to keep the inner liner to stay in place when pulling your arms out as well when you put your arms in. The material and work man ship is LLBean quality. The back of the liner does not stay in place well.

Back in December 2023, your customer service team noted an issue with the inner lining material grabbing the material of garments worn under the 3in1 jacket. As of this month (a year later) it appears you are still receiving the same complaints leading me to believe no improvements have been made. Care to comment?

I like this jacket exceot for the liner which is poorly made. As others have stated, it is difficult to get your hand through the sleeve. I took the liner out and put in a nylon fabric liner that i still had from a older LL Bean Jacket and it is far superior. Hands slide right through and i will bet it is warmer.
