Love the look but the heel is way too wide for my size 6 foot. My heel kept popping out like I was wearing flip flops.

Great shoe, just not for me. I have owned several styles of Eastland shoes in the past and have been very happy with them. However, I do have a very high instep and this style was not large enough in that area for me. Otherwise, it fit well, true to size and width, and would have been very comfortable if it was roomier in the instep.

Black Eastlands Newport - I have had the brown and black, love them but the soles split and no you cannot get them fixed. The tops look brand new, the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Just wish the soles were fixable.

Eastland's Shoes - For the most part, I love the shoes. They are comfortable to wear for work.

Comfortable - It is a good shoe. It is comfortable and stable for walking in rain, snow, and ice.

In reading other reviews I decided to order 1/2 size larger than I normally would with a wide shoe and I'm glad I did. The shoe is comfortable right away, but does scuff easily. Looks great with jeans and slacks.

A sturdy shoe - Initially (once I got the right size, since I needed to go up a size and up a width from what I normally wear), the shoes are quite comfortable. However, after walking a few blocks, they really rubbed several blisters onto the soles of my feet. Also, they're quite hot, which wasn't, to be fair, unexpected. Despite that, I do like the shoes and will keep wearing them; I just won't do much walking in them. Other than that blisters issue, they're very comfortable.

I love them - I had a pair of these shoes before. I needed a wide so I turned to Zappos. They are very comfortable. I wear them with slacks to work or to hang out in. They also have a little arch support which I need.

Good, solid shoe - This does, as so many have said before me, go great with jeans. It's pretty comfortable right out of the box and I bet it will only get better as it gets worn in a bit.

I am happy with the shoes, but I thought they would be a little more comfortable than they were when you first put them on.

I really like these shoes. They are easy to get on in a hurry, AND VERY COMFORTABLE.

Great STURDY Shoe - This is not a cute little shoe. It looks like a boot under jeans. I love these because I have a lot of feet problems and they give me great foot support.

Comfy and Cute - These shoes are great for trips to the store and mall. I especially like them because they are slip on, and easy to get into if I need to keep up with my kids.

These are very narrow across the bridge of my foot - so much that I struggled to even get the shoe on. As a result, it pinches across the top of my foot. Plenty of room in the toe box which is I guess why it is called wide but so narrow at the arch that it is impractical. Thusly, returning.

Got the wide, but was not quite wide enough. And looked too "work boot" on.

The Width was fine as I ordered a large. I'm not a size 11 but so I ordered the 10.5. but my toes were right at the top of the shoe.

Ordered my actual size 8W. Too narrow in the toe bed but too long and my heels kept slipping out of the shoes with each step.

I have worn these shoes for years! My first two pair (black and brown) lasted for years. I purchased a pair a few years back and they felt a little cheaper - and sure enough, a couple of months after wearing them the sole cracked all the way across where your foot bends. I loved the shoes so much that I ordered another pair and the same exact thing happened (and in an even shorter amount of time wearing them). I was actually very disappointed. They are very comfortable and I wear mine every day, except when it rains. I tried to fix them with shoe glue, but it did not hold. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as me! I would like to get another pair but to spend this much on a shoe that only lasts 2 months is...

Just didn't fit comfortable for me. They felt heavy, clunky and stiff. I wish they were more supple.

A notch below business casual, not something I'd wear to a corporate setting. Too "tuff" looking. Runs large, not comfy.

I would have loved to love these shoes, but they were way too wide for me. The length (size 10) was perfect, but they wouldn't stay on my feet - and the left shoe felt bigger than the right one. Unfortunately, I was unable to discover this while I was walking around indoors - I wore them outside and noticed how huge they were only after walking a few blocks in them. Alas, I had to give them away - returning was not an option due to the fact that I wore them outdoors.

I was really excited about these shoes. They are exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the fit is narrow, even with thin socks. I am returning them.

I have had two pairs of these shoes and both of them had the same problem. After wearing them for about 2 fall/winter seasons, the sole cracked right under the ball of your foot. I am very disappointed, since the rest of the shoe is in good shape yet.

I had this style many years ago and they were very comfortable with great cushioning but the sole began to crack after much use so I decided to try a new pair. They changed the style slightly by adding a removable insert and the sole seemed more plastic like than rubber. My original pair did not have a removable insert so when I added my orthodic it made my heel slip slightly but still comfortable so I thought this would be a good improvement but they made it too cheap or maybe because the sole seemed to be made differently as well it just wasn't as soft. Very disappointing so I returned them.

I should have read the other reviews. It is too short and too tight! However, it is a nice-looking shoe, so I will try a bigger size!
