I've had these boots for about a month and as stiff as they were when I got them, I was afraid they wouldn't be very comfortable. Boy, was I wrong! I wore them to work and also took a back up pair of shoes but I wore them all day and into the evening, they never so much as rubbed me wrong anywhere. I get a lot of compliments on them too!

Love Them! They are very comfortable. The leather, on these boots is great. Perfect heel, too.

I love these boots! The fit is perfect, which is a pleasant surprise because I have a narrow foot. They look great with skinny jeans and they don't make that 'clomping' sound! I'm very happy with my purchase!

Awesome boots! I ordered these boots for a seven day horseback riding vacation in Montana. From the moment I put these boots on, to "break" them in, they felt as though I'd been wearing them for months. They were so comfortable that I wore them even when I wasn't riding. I even got a compliment from the manager of the ranch!

I wear my Eastland Overdrives on the snowy and icy streets of Ann Arbor. These boots are extremely comfortable as well as practical for a walking town. I am also enamored of the retro look. So happy with these!

These are great just like I expect from Eastland. They fit perfect and are very comfortable.

This was my first order from Zappos even though I live in a place where people can't live without Zappos, now I see why. I couldn't find these shoes anywhere in my size but here; I love them and actually am thinking about buying a second pair for when these wear out. You cannot go wrong with Eastlands. They are perfect in every way, style, fit, comfort. Now for Zappos Excellent customer service! Wow! The best! Very fast shipping, before you blink your eye you have your order at your doorstep. Extremely comfortable & supportive. I got them in black & they are my reliable all-day city-walking shoe.

Fit and size seems accurate however the photo of the brown leather boot is not at all accurate and needs to be updated. I even called the Eastland Shoe company to confirm this. The photo here looks like a more casual, somewhat distressed or "antiqued" leather brown boot with orange or brown stitching. The actual product is a smooth dark brown boot with white stitching - so it looks more polished like the black boot does. I wanted the more distressed look but the boot seems nice and comfortable enough to keep. Just wanted to warn people about what they are actually ordering.

I ordered the brown because I loved the look of the leather. The photo shows a nice oiled leather with a rougher texture. That is not what they send you! The ones they send are a brown shiny leather. Not nearly as nice and not what is shown. I do like the fit and style, so I'll keep them. But this is false advertising.

Overall good winter boot. I have worn it several times out in the snow & it is sturdy and keeps my feet warm & dry. However, it is a bit clunky/heavy. Also, there is no padding around the ankles, but I just solve that problem by wearing heavy socks, which is the norm for winter anyway. It isn't squishy soft on the inside, but it is comfortable.

Super comfortable, but runs large. I normally wear a 7.5 and that's what I ordered. When I first tried them on, they felt so good, but when I worked them all day, they slipped so much and wore a blister in my ankle. Going to order a 7 and perhaps 6.5 and see which fit better because the soles were so soft and cushy, I want them to fit!

These boots appear to be well made, and the style is versatile -- a little sleeker than most hiking boots, more casual than a lot of street boots. But they will need some breaking in, as the leather is very stiff. After a number of wears, I predict they will be very comfortable, but they're not shoes you should expect to be able to wear all day right out of the box.

The leather started to get crinkled straight out of the box. After wearing the shoes for a few hours they got that worn look. I am still not sure if I like the look or not. However the shoe is very comfortable and looks great. You don't have to worry about it getting scuffed up because I think that is the intention of the design of the leather.

I have purchased Eastland shoes before and know that they use good quality leather that really lasts. So I was hopeful. Unfortunately, these are too tight right at the widest part of my foot where the seam is. (I have a wide foot and need arch support). After wearing them around the house for an afternoon my feet hurt. Because of the seam, I am not sure they will stretch. I will have to return them. I wish they had multiple widths to choose from. Love the quality and color of the dark brown option.

These are true to size, very comfortable - did not need breaking in - and look very good. My only complaint is that my pants get caught in the loop at the back of the boots. Otherwise great.

These fit as expected and TTS. Unfortunately not a nubuck brown leather as pictured, and too shiny for my taste so they will be going back - too bad, otherwise perfect.

Leather is not quite the quality I was expecting, and the laces are cheap. I like the color and the style, though, so I might have kept them except that the top edge of the ankle piece sits right on the bottom of my ankle bone. A bit higher or a bit lower, I might have been willing to tough it out, but that's a break-in period I don't think I can live through.

I really wanted these to work out for me, but I'm going to have to buy a shoe stretcher now.

These fit but felt "cheap". Would rather invest more in a shoe that will likely have a longer life.

I was disappointed in the quality. These were very comfortable, great walking shoes, for about 2 months before they totally fell apart. The heels wore through, and it became apparent that they were actually hollow. Little pebbles would get inside and rattle around. It would also squish down on one side as I walked, which totally threw my back out. The sole also wore through very quickly around the ball of foot area. I tried to bring them in to a cobbler to have them repaired, but he said that the cost of re-soling them would not be worth it for the quality and condition of the rest of the shoe. As for the uppers, I like that they are relatively soft leather, but they got a really wrinkly look very quickly and started looking a bit 'frayed' at the seams. After attempting to fix them myself with some shoe goo (protip: don't try this at home, kids. they won't come out even and you'll have more weird back pain), the soles in front finally split open in front and started leaking puddle water in, which is when I decided it was time to let them go. That being said, I really like the look of these shoes, the softness of the leather upper, and the soles were quite comfortable before they wore through. If I can find shoes like these that are much better quality, I will be very happy.
