I have a narrow width but with winter weight socks, they're perfect. They were comfortable out of the box and I'm thinking I should buy another pair. They offer great ankle support. I love they way they look and feel.

I am certainly not disappointed in these boots. I have yet to wear them out often enough to accumulate stranger's compliments but my mom and even my dad expressed how much they love the style/color. I chose to wear these on two occasions, both consisted of hours spent walking and never did my feet feel uncomfortable like they have in every other pair of shoe I've worn for such purposes. There's a reason why these boots only have 100% ratings; they are comfortable, stylish, and durable. They're worth it!

These are great boots. I have a pair in black and now tan. They are true to size and width, but the foot bed is not very well cushioned - I added an insert and they are perfect. I highly recommend this shoe/boot.

These are nice boots! They were comfortable from the first time I put them on. They look great with jeans. I get lots of compliments when I wear them.

These boots fit well and are comfortable. They are not as heavy as they look. My 16-year-old daughter thinks they are "funky" (in a good way). They remind me of shoes my grandparents would have worn back in the mills, but are polished enough for me to wear at work, and sturdy enough to walk the dogs over land.

Love these boots! The height is just right coming a little over my ankle so it gives good support. I did not experience any break-in period, just put them on and wore them all day. I like the weight, they are sturdy without being klunky and the tread is great for the snowy days ahead.

These are seriously comfortable boots - right out of the box! I received these boots 10 days before a trip to NYC - they were so comfy I decided that they would be my footwear of choice for the trip. They did not disappoint! Great boots!

When they arrived I put them on immediately and, Wow, they fit like a glove. Leather seemed thin at first but comfort and wear overrode any worries I had. They are adorable with skirts and perfect with my jeans. I also used a light weight waterproofing wax for snow protection getting from my truck to the office.

These boots are really good looking. The attention to detail makes them look far more expensive than they are. The size is absolutely true. I ordered an 8 (which is my normal size) and an 8 1/2 in case they ran small. I returned the 8 1/2. I wore them around the house for awhile and they are fine and comfortable. Unfortunately, I fractured my ankle a few days later so cannot wear them right now! But I look forward to it when the cast comes off! Thanks Zappos.

Like other reviewers, they felt very snug when I first put it on. After about 10 minutes they loosened up and felt perfect. I have a high instep and can't wear Keens because of that. These were tight on my instep at first. So much that I thought they would be unwearable or need stretching. They are like light hiking boots. They are a little heavier than a granny boot because the sole is thicker but lighter than a shoe with a wood heel. The heels on these shoes are man made and therefor a bit cushier and lighter. Note: these are the perfect Mori Girl shoes!

I wrote a cranky blurb about these shoes a month ago, but after a month I've changed my mind completely and can't yell loud enough about how fantastic these shoes are. They look great. The structure and support are exactly what I need (Like my favorite jeans- they were awful starchy cardboard on the shelf, but after a few beatings they became a second skin). I take them off to sleep and shower.

I bought these boots as a nicer looking boot when riding my scooter. I absolutely love them. They go well with Docker type pants or jeans. Very versatile. I call them scooter boots.

I was looking for short boots for work. They had to have a heavy tread for safety for the times I need to go out to the loading dock. These boots were perfect. They're light - not heavy like most work boots - so they work in the office, too. And they were perfectly true to size. Since I put them on, I haven't had a single day of sore feet. Love 'em.

Nice boot, love those Eastland's. I've had several different pair in the past and they do tend to wear out after about 10-15 years. Ha! Not a bad thing. I do end up putting an arch support in them, but I know that about Eastlands, the footbeds are usually pretty flat for me. OK by me tho, otherwise very comfortable.

The boot is exactly the color shown. A nice firm but comfortable leather with no need to break in. An appealing shoe that looks nice with pants. Like another reviewer said, my only complaint is that my pants sometimes get hung on the back strap.

These shoes are amazing. They fit perfect and are true to size. You can wear them with anything; just a pair of jeans or even a dress. They are high quality and comfortable.

I have angry unhappy flat feet that are always ready for me to take my shoes off as soon as I get home from work, but not with these boots. I don't have to wear inserts because the arch support is in exactly right place, the heel is just the right height. After wearing them one day, I bought 2 more pairs. Love them.

Most boots rub blisters until broken in, but not these. Comfortable and feel "broken in" right out of the box. They are light weight and don't feel heavy on your feet. Eastlands always give me years of wear and comfort, but these are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I bought a pair in every color after I wore the first pair.

Great boots! I brought these boots, and thought they would be stiff, and hard to "break-in". I read all the reviews, and still was not convinced. Well, I was wrong. Very comfortable boots! Put on the first day, and wore all day. I have a narrow foot and a high arch, but these fit well. I also agree with the other reviewer about "not clomping" - they don't!

The perfect shoe. I wear a size 8 and border on the the narrow size. I ordered these in an 8 medium and wear them with socks. They fit absolutely perfect. My feet don't slide around so I think they might run slightly narrower than most mediums. The shoe is so perfect that I am going to order another pair for my two-week walking tour in Europe. So perfect that I haven't worn any other shoe since I got them!
