I've been using this bag for over a year with two under two. I am expecting my third child and am considering buying other bags because this one gets really heavy and is wide, sometimes it doesn't fit well behind the front seat of car and definitely is tight on the airline at times. With that said, here are the things we love - clips on backpack straps for stroller attachment! - two webbing straps making it easy to just pick up quickly off the ground and move it - quick access shallow but long pockets on top for important items like keys, phone, chapstick. - larger compartment is open with two large stretchy pockets I use for wipes in one, diapers in the other. The rest of the compartment I use small waterproof bags to organize everything. Snacks, toiletry items like sunscreen, aquaphor, etc - that this bag isn't too deep, and sits up on its own (usually) - water bottle pockets on each side - the front pocket that is just stretchy material I always put my phone there for quick access What I could do without: The cooler compartment is narrow and not useful. I never use it. I just use a snack bag and bring a separate small cooler which fits in the main compartment of the bag. The cooler is a huge miss imo.

This bag is very well made (as is expected from LL Bean). The zippers are large and durable/easy to use. There are lots of pockets and finishing touches that make it very nice. The interior fabric is a pretty pattern that is light colored and makes it easy to see what's in the bag. The only con for me is the bulkiness of the bag compared to my last diaper bag backpack. It's a tight squeeze to put in the basket of my Bob stroller. However it is so well laid out and functional otherwise I am keeping and using.

The bag was bigger than expected, which probably would have been okay over time but like it was big enough to take on a plane for the weekend with a couple pairs of shoes, a laptop, and a few outfit changes. Since I don't have a baby yet that's the best way I can describe it :) the reason we ultimately returned it is the lining fabric. It was an outdoorsy turquoise deer print that didn't match the bag at all. I wish there were better photos of the inside of the bag so you would know what you're getting.

We gave this diaper bag to our daughter. She loves it. Said it is the best diaper bag she has. She has made 2 suggestions. the cooler part should be deeper and slightly bigger. Also there should be a clip to put across chest when wearing it as the backpack.

This is a great bag. Lots of space for everything and good pockets! I was expecting it to be much smaller (I should have looked more closely) - it is huge. So - awesome for travel (fits under an airplane seat) but doesn't work for me as well for everyday use.

Spacious diaper bag. Has enough room and compartments for both of my kids things, plus my stuff. Comes with cute removable zipper pouch and changing pad. Love the green and orange color!

Love the size and shape but one of the straps ripped within a month of having the bag and the zippers are a little sticky.

This bag is huge! We have 3 kids and can fit all we need. My straps have experienced pretty considerable pulling and freys and look pretty ugly now. I will also add i think the insulated pouch on the front is pretty useless. To oddly shaped to put a bottle in and to heavly padded too, however because of how heavy inflated it is you really cant use it for much of anything. If it wasn't insulated it would be an amazing addition. Besides that we its nice.

Nice bag, good capacity. The straps are an issue. The backpack straps could use a place to store when not in use. A longer strap is needed to carry on shoulder. The short handles are okay, but a little tight.

As others have noted, front padded pocket is too bulky and rather useless. Just makes it harder to fit under airplane seat. Worse problem i had though was the top zippers simply do not remain closed. I bought a connector lock to keep it closed, because as soon as you put it over your shoulders zippers come apart undone-Maddening. Other than that, i do like the bagand use it as a carry on for trips. Sturdy, and well made otherwise.

Love the color and fabric. Fully packed, it's too big to fit under our Bugaboo Butterfly stroller, and it barely fits in our Chicco Corso. The insulated pocket is too narrow and tight to fit bottles, so I don't use it. I wish there was more structure to the back so it's more comfortable when I wear it.

Bag feels high quality but the front pocket makes it heavy. Unfortunately the insulated pocket making it heavy isn't super useful either as we can't fit any bottles in there. Maybe a bag of breast milk if frozen flat. I wish the front pocket just had a better design and it would be perfect. The carry straps are a bit in the way but handy so worth it. It's a big bag that could fit everything we could need for even most of a weekend for babe.

We really wanted to love this bag for the price and quality of LL Bean. Pros: spacious, beautiful interior, well-made Cons: the insulated front pouch is very narrow. We tested putting our Dr. Brown bottles in it and it would barely zip. It's nice that there are two water bottle pouches but they are short and small. Not ideal for holding yeti or hydro flask bottles - probably just disposable plastic bottles or more baby bottles (not insulated) The straps on top really get in the way of zipping/unzipping. I think this bag has potential, but isn't quite there yet, design-wise.

The handles are always in the way of the zipper. Inner layer got stucked in the zipper.

This at first glance looks like a Laptop bag with a built in lunchbox front pocket. I was disappointed with the lack of pockets on the interior of the bag(for the record there are only three, you can't see that from the photo). One of these pockets isn't even really a pocket but similar to the depth of a laptop sleeve. As a mom of two I have no idea what I will put here.... I wouldn't be taking a laptop anywhere with two kids. I could care less about the "included": changing mat and zipper pouch that feel super cheaply made and not going to last. I wish there were side pockets on the interior for better organization of the slew of items that you would typically get to categorize in other diaper type bags. This is a bit of a miss for me. I give three starts because its an overpriced bag for what you are getting. The width instead of depth of this bag is what drew me to it in the first place. I agree with other reviewers the width is nice! no digging - but since there aren't many functional pockets to divide the space I have a feeling I will be digging anyway. The overall longevity of the bag is a wait and see but I have faith the materials will be fine. The lunch box/insulated pocket in front seems really durable, but I am unsure of the true functionality for a range of bottles and typical bottles my babes take.

It's an odd shaped large backpack with large handle straps that seem to serve no real purpose. Would liked to have returned it, but cut the straps off. Nothing about it is useful. Waste of money. I'd be better off with a plastic grocery bag.
