I used this organizer bag for the first time on a long weekend trip. And although it may seem crazy, it made my trip much more enjoyable. I always lament over packing but having a place for everything made it smoother. I had plenty of room for everything and was able to easily find what I needed because of the well organized compartments. My only disappointment is that most of the colors are masculine. I bought the antique plum which is darker than pictured but a great color.

I have an older version of this style and size. It's still in perfect condition after 15+ years and many, many trips. Enough room and compartments for all my grooming products and first aid stuff. Fits into the side of my carry-on without taking up too much space. Recommended.

I've had this organizer in a pretty pattern for several years. I love it. It holds everything I need for every trip. I just leave it packed all the time, and grab it when it's time to go. My only complaint is that on my last trip, the plastic pocket on the top blew out and lotion got all over everything. It was the bottom "seam" that failed. But I love it so much that I just ordered a new one. I shopped around and think this is the best one out there. I especially like the swivel hook. Many others don't have that, and sometimes it's just what you need to hang it where you want to hang it.

My parents gave me one of these toiletry bags for Christmas when I was in high school, 20 years ago! I hadn't realized how long I've had it until I decided to get one for my son this Christmas and realized it has been that long. I travel very frequently and this thing has taken a beating over the years. There are no signs of it slowing down! It's still in fantastic shape.

Best carry all bag in all my years of travel. Tons of pockets and zippers. Leak proof. Cleans easily. No sign of wear or tear or zipper fails! Worth the price. It'll be the last travel bag you'll ever buy.

I purchased this for use on a 9 day international trip. After reading some other reviews I was worried this might be too small for such a long trip but it worked perfectly! I had several full-sized toiletry bottles in this as well as travel sized bottles and could have fit more things in if I needed. I found all the pockets (of varying shapes and sizes) and elastic bands for being helpful in staying organized. The little mirror inside is pretty cheap and after packing mine in checked luggage for two trips the mirror is cracked in half - I think this is probably a poor design. However - I'm pretty much always using this bag in a bathroom with a mirror so it doesn't really matter. Prior to this bag I had to use at least two bags to carry everything for a long trip but now I just need this bag and it packs flat. Also it's leakproof. I had a bottle of sunscreen explode everywhere inside the toiletry bag and it didn't seep through into the rest of my suitcase. The hook could be a big larger - it was too small to fit over the shower rod in my last airbnb - but not a deal breaker! Love this bag!

Still have my original. Looks great! I never unpack it. At home I use everything right out of it. That way it's always ready to travel. It's been everywhere: multiple trips through Europe, to Japan, Bora bora, Guatemala, many times to Hawaii, many cruises, hunting and camping often, mission trip work.... I've used it for everything from overnight to three weeks. I have the medium. It's almost my travel buddy now. It just won't wear out. I've given a dozen as gifts. Can't over recommend it!

Good heavens; how have I traveled for so long without a well-organized toiletry bag? My old ones were single-compartment bags into which everything was thrown willy-nilly in a jumbled mess. Enter the LL Bean medium-sized toiletry bag, and my life will never be the same. Everything has its own place! I can actually find things! And everything fits with room to spare. One side pocket holds my full-size toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss; the other side pocket holds my few makeup items. The other numerous pockets and main compartment hold everything else. I also love the little removable hanging pouch for the shower! Perfect for travel-size shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The quality on this is as you'd expect: excellent. The zippers, mesh, and material are good quality, and the hooks feel like coated metal rather than the usual flimsy plastic. Love the teal color. I like the fact that it can stand upright on a counter as well as be hung from a hook. I expect this to last for many years to come.

I hate to give reviews immediately after I purchase a item, its been 2yrs Plus, since I purchased this item. This item has held up to all the items that I placed in it, I have had spills, packed till nothing else fit, and have placed in the washer several time, NO PROBLEM! Will NOT spill through!!!

I bought this item to replace a leather ditty bag. It is amazing how many items it will hold in it's several compartments. I like being able to hang it over the inside bathroom door when travelling. Instead of my personal bathroom items being crammed in a ditty bag they are readily available in an orderly fashion. Great travel aid!

Well designed. The organizer when open can be hung from most anything for easy access. I found the medium size worked best for me.

It is priced right and does more than it promises! Solves all of your toiletry packing problems. It is compact and so convenient. I bought it for my Husband. Then I bought it for myself. Then I bought it for a Granddaughter, then for a Daughter & Son-in-law. We all love it!

I decided to treat myself to this bag after looking at it for a long time and chose to have my initial added. My only disappointment is in the size of the initial! The initial is so small that it appears to be lost on the flap. It would also be great if it were more centered on the flap. Suggest you get all three initials put on the bag -- maybe it would look better. I usually go on trips lasting at least two weeks so this bag will easily hold all my 'stuff'.

I bought this bag on the advice of my parents, who travel a LOT and own a both the small and medium. The medium is a perfect size for the 7-day vacation I have planned. Granted, I don't take a huge amount of hair products and make-up. If you do, you might want to upgrade to the large size, but I am amazed at how much fits into the medium. The quality is pure LL Bean, so it's strong and long-lasting. Mine is fairly new, but my parents have had theirs for years. I bought the green and it's gorgeous. Bright, but not neon-y. It's a leafy green. Highly recommended.

I have an older "small" version, and got the medium to hold more stuff -- since my travel has changed. The medium is much larger and holds everything. The organization and compartments are different from the small -- so still getting used to it. I lost some pockets and features, but I'm not sure if that's the new model, or the change in size. I'm overnight 1-3 nights every week -- and this holds everything I need. It stays in the travel bag, except to refill items.

As a side job I watch friends homes and pets while they are on vacation. I have been very busy lately, going from home to home. Up until this point I have been putting all my bathroom items, (razors, toothpaste, soap, etc.) into plastic zip lock bags and putting them into my suitcase. Now that I have the Personal Organizer, I am able to fit everything into one bag, in a organized and convenient manner. Thank you L.L. Bean for making my trips so much easier.

I have now taken several trips of 2-5 weeks with this, and basically lived out of it during those times. It is so well though out, so versatile, so durable it is hard to imagine a significant improvement to this bag. Everything is so easy to see and well organized, I am blown away how much it has improved my overall travel experience. So many times traveling I would just do without something, and now I have it all ready to go. I now carry a lot more items than in trips past, but everything packs so small I never mind carrying it. And now I even use it at home next to my bathroom cabinet. I can't yet speak to the durability but so far it still looks brand new. The best toiletry bag I have ever seen, I have now bought several as gifts, always to rave reviews. And medium definitely seems the best size for most people.

Just the right size. Not too big and not too small. Great for travel including canoe/camping trips.

I just took this organizer with me on a recent trip to Arizona. I loved the way it hung on the towel rack keeping the sink area clear. I might even start using it at home!

I love these bags! I have had one for the past 15 years and decided to get a new one with monogram. I've been so pleased with it I also purchased one for my mom and sister for an upcoming trip. I highly recommend these. Very durable.

This is great! It holds all of my "chaos" and then some, and keeps it organized. Nothing is falling out when I open it and hang it. I should have bought one years ago. I love the color (red) and embroidered initials. Plus it is easy to clean up any spills. Now I need to get one for my husband.

Great construction, holds all my personal travel toiletries and makeup items, I bought one for my husband and liked it so much for his things that I got one for myself.

I understand all of the high reviews on this product! Much better than a shaving kit! You can actually compartmentalize and see where your things are! What a GREAT VALUE!
