I have the XL, L & M size in this bag and have been using them for years and they are great 'BUT' I am forced to use the 'white canvas tote' for carrying smaller stuff around...WHY can you not have this made in small like the canvas totes...I understand they are not made in Main but I think you would find a market here for the small one and even the small with a zipper...doesn't exist anywhere of this quality or size that I can find and I consider myself a good internet searcher...

I was so excited to find this tote bag. I had been looking to replace a similar size 30 year old black tote for 15 years now with a new bag and now I finally did. It's working for me perfectly. Thanks L.L. Bean! This should last me another 30 years!

I love this bag. I carry the Large as my gym bag and will use the XL as a travel bag for the airplane. I love how easy it is to wipe off and clean. If I could change one thing, I would make the straps just a tad longer to fit on my shoulder better, but nothing that stopped me from purchasing this bag.

Excellent size for our purpose (toting large amounts of books) and extremely sturdy.

My wife is fast, efficient, and hard on stuff. Oddly. she's also unwilling to pay more for tools, utensils and apparel that's capable of keeping up with her. But I am ok with paying more for quality craftsmanship. We're all-season campers and she needed a tote to hold her shower house stuff. This will make the perfect gift, and did I mention she loves camo?

Well made large tote bag, fits everything. I bought the XL bag and it's great. Just know it's an open bag (no zipper top) and there's no side pocket. Think of it as a well crafted large dump pouch that can easily carry anything from groceries to a 50 lbs. bag of cement.

I finally found a bag that works for my family of 5. My toddlers are in swim class and I always have so many small bags and this fits mine/my husbands clothes, towels, and everything for my kids. I wish I bought it sooner!

Very strong, clean lined, handsome bag! I'm very HAPPY with this purchase. I use it for books and groceries mostly.

I have 2 other LL tote from back in the early 2000 and they were heavier duty canvas. I do prefer the newer style that is lighter and has a waterproof lining inside, which makes cleaning easier. I love it! Wish the straps were longer for versatility.

This bag is amazing. The lining inside is durable. Will definitely hold up to anything. We use it for packing our craft items to shows. Guess I will be buying another for my husband to use for his fishing trips.
