Great design, lightweight and durable construction. Gift recipient loved it! So happy delivery occurred before Christmas even though availability date was a few days after.

Good value on this well made pack that you can stash anywhere in case you need it. Light enough to put in your large backpack for day trips. Good amount of pockets and the water bottle pockets are always nice.

Great Backpack for the young teen who just wants to "throw" their stuff in it and be off!

I was searching for the perfect backpack for dayhikes ( and for hikes with my cub scouts and girl.scouts) and kept finding most backpacks either were too long or too narrow or to wide for my wide shoulder but short torso frame. This was perfect. It's so lightweight, I actually carried 2 large soda stream bottles and thought I only had one because it spread the weight so nicely. If you need a backpack for a quick day trip this is it. I cant imagine going back to my other pack which weighs more empty then this one does fully packed. I just wish they came in more colors. And briught back the bottle pocket elastic hardware. My mother in law has a the bag from the spring collection and hers had a parachute type cord clasp to secure things in her bottle pockets. Other then that 100% recommend

Great color for when I wander off and get lost. Bright yellow. Some reviews say side bottles holders to short, I say rubbish. My Yeti cup fits perfectly I have another pick just like my new on, just different color. You won't go wrong with this pick.

I was given one as a gift I love it so much I bought a back up and one for a friend who loved mine because of the size and the extra straps for security

This is my travel bag for car keys, IPad, reader, travel chargers and then other items I need depending on the weather. It looks good, and worked out perfectly on our first trip.

Is well made as I have learned to expect from all L.L. Bean products. Have not used as yet, but will be using when I take a trip for Christmas. Did try it on and it fits beautifully.

Great lightweight design for hauling around theme parks or taking o the gym

Purchased as "shore" bag on a cruise. Fit flat in suitcase. Easily accommodated all my beach day shore gear - water, snacks, towel, water shoes, goggles, cap, sunscreens, underwater camera, rash guard, phone, change of clothes, bag for wet suit, shower toiletries and other misc. Nice separate pouches to tuck away $, etc. Tossed in the home washer/air dried and we're both ready to go somewhere again!

We were looking for lightweight packable backpacks for travel. These backpacks fit the bill to a T! They are lightweight but hold a lot of gear - jacket, change of clothes, water bottles, Kindle, deck of cards, snacks - just what you need to have on hand when dashing through the airport or a day hike! They will fit in your suitcase and are great to bring home all those treasures you find on your travels. We highly recommend these backpacks!

I have been using this as my beach bag. It has many pockets inside which keeps items organized. It's very lightweight to carry and just love this color

My sister recommended this bag to us several years ago, and it is the most used pack in the house. Light and holds a lot. Has been on every family and friend vacation, to the beach, on the bike. Friends ask to borrow it. Doubles as a purse on casual trips. Love it! You won't be disappointed!

I have the older version of the stowaway day pack, AND I LOVE IT!! The features are very simIlar. I think all that's changed is the shape of the chest and hip buckle, the width of those 2 smaller straps and the water bottle strap inside the bottle pocket. I've used mine on every day hike for years and it's got everything I need. The 1343 cubic inches is 22L. It's big enough for 2 water bottles on the outside, snacks, a SOL emergency bivy sack, a rain jacket in the outer "shove" pocket, a small zip pocket up top for keys/lipbalm/swiss army knife, a medium front zip that fits my toilet kit (zip lock bag with tissues, wipes, hand sanitizer), plastic grocery sack to carry out trash/waste, mini bug spray and sunscreen, and small dog bowl. Inside I carry a hat, Garmin Inreach and seasonal things like gloves and fleece. IT'S PERFECT!

My boys have been using these backpacks for 4 years and use them all time, they are in college. Perfect for hiking or light travel - Highly Recommend
