Very nice shoulder bag. Purchased for and used on a recent trip to Costa Rica. Very comfortable to wear. On one occasion, because I was not accostumed to carrying it, I did leave it behind containing my passport and all my money. Caused myself some major anxiety! But all was recovered easily and it wasn't the bag's fault that I left it behind. But just beware so you don't do the same. Might not be as lucky as I was.

This was so great for travel! Our 5 year old carried his iPad, snacks and switch with no problem on our flights to Florida.

It's simple, practical and lightweight. It just isn't for me, looking for something a bit smaller.

Great bag. Lots of storage. I would prefer the mesh pocket have Velcro out some type of fastener as it is great for my phone but it falls out too easily.

It is small, but holds all my gear. It is well designed with two pockets and side mesh storage. Light weight.

It is excellent for light travel to carry directly under your arm hanging from shoulder for easy access to documents or small items at airports or train safety. Would love to see in red.

This bag works great as a busy mom of 4, keeps just my essentials and easy to carry!

It is as good as another shoulder bag for which I paid twice as much.

This is a great sling pack. I can keep it on when driving; also rotate it around when wearing and walking in a store so I can reach things inside it without having to take it off. It leaves my hands free for other things. It's light weight but rugged. It has a small pocket within a larger pocket, perfect for cell phone and/or reading glasses and kleenex.

I will be using this item for walking the Camino de Santiago. It is perfect to keep my maps and guide book plus personals safe and dry. Love it !

This sling is lightweight and holds what you need for a commute or on the trail. It's a great alternative to my backpack when I need it. The shoulder pad is a great addition to this well balanced sling. It's also perfect for traveling in it's stowaway pocket.

I used this as a hiking pack and it worked great. A little less quality than I'd expect from llbean but hopefully it'll hold up awhile!

Use this bag daily as a purse/workbag. Zipper often catches on the inside lining which is annoying but I can tolerate this. Light but durable!

This bag is a great size for packing what you need for the day, (i.e., keys, phone, wallet, glasses, hand sanitizer, water, snacks, etc.) and love the Soft Juniper color. I took off a star because I feel it needs compartments/pockets/zippered areas on the inside of the bag to help keep items more concise and easier to find with greater ease. Also, there is an excess of strap which causes a tiny bit of bulk while wearing. Overall, I like it.

An excellent solution to the need for a capacious, unobtrusive, flexible personal carry-all

Purchased for a recent trip to Puerto Rico. Decent size and comfortable to carry. The only thing I would suggest would be to incorporate a small zippered compartment inside the main section of the bag to hold a wallet. This would safeguard against the wallet or card case falling out, or falling to the bottom of the bag amidst all the other contents. Other than that I was happy with my purchase.

This is the first time I've used a sling and I haven't used it very much yet. And it's only been during cold weather over thick jackets/coats. It is comfortable to wear. The strap is very lightweight and doesn't always hold where I've tightened it, but that also means it's comfortable and that when I need to change it it moves easily. I like the 2 zip compartment design but I'm not sure yet how useful the mesh pocket will be: it is deep but of course not secure. I got the item on sale so the idea was just to check it out. So far I'm happy with it but can't say yet whether it has changed my life. Generally I hope to carry minimal stuff in pockets so I do like having this hands free option to try out.

This was a perfect purchase for our trip. I used it everywhere, every day, throughout Iceland and the UK. I loved that it was at my front instead of facing backwards like a regular backpack. It was very easy to access and held what I needed: glasses & sunglasses, wallet, Kleenex, listening device and full headphones for tours. And it is very lightweight with a comfortable padded strap. I liked it more than anticipated.

I do love this but there is room for improvement. If the front mesh pocket had a zipper closure this would be better so that things don't fall out when I bend down to tie my kids shoes, etc. also, everything tends to sink to the bottom.maybe some dividers and/or pockets in the main compartment. I wear it backwards so the pack is on my chest.I think because I am left handed and the other way feels 'right handed'.
