Perfect size!!!! Bought this to out vaca patches on that I've accumulated. Love the size especially because you can sinch the sides! Wanted something that will last forever. Can't wait to start putting my patches on!

Lots of room and multiple pockets - had to go through several other smaller backpack models before I found this one, which was actually big enough to fit laptop, books, sweatshirt, etc.

This is a large, roomy and sturdy backpack. My high schooler does use a locker and this holds all she needs.

The last backpack we bought was for my Junior in high school when she was in 3rd grade. It's got flowers on it but now it holds about 50 pounds of text books. We are hoping this one lasts just as long.

Purchased this for a week-long family trip in CO involving airplane travel, sightseeing, and a fair amount of walking. The capacity is fantastic and all of the details re: each of the compartments are so well thought-out. Quality is top notch (as is always the case with L.L. Bean), and the pack was comfortable to wear. Highly recommend - I am quite happy with this purchase.

Nice design first use and it held two laptops one iPad all the charging cords food snacks for a full day commercial flight. Straps are thin and not real comfortable to carry the heavy loads, but it serves its purpose.

I bought this backpack for nursing school. It has everything I need and then some. It's huge! Fits all of my books and has a perfect place for my laptop. Would recommend this backpack for anyone needing a big bag.

Teen son loves this backpack. The only problem is the llbean logo on the front peeled off after just a few months of daily use. Otherwise highly recommend this backpack for an older teen in high school who doesn't like to use a locker.

My daughter started middle school this year and wanted a bigger backpack to hold all of her fear. The school she attends doesn't have student lockers. This seemed to fit the bill. At first she was hesitant, but after a few weeks she told me that she "loves her backpack". So there you have it. The color choices were fun too.

The pack is bigger than my old one and is very roomy. I expect it to be very durable.

Love it! Only complaint is: no monogramming option. Have not bought a new L.L.Bean backpack in awhile and the old one, this size, had that option. I LOVE monogramming on ALL your bags.

This replaced an old LL Bean school backpack, and it is much more useful for (non-school) functions now, letting me carry work materials (laptop/notebook space) apart from sundries/toiletries, and random stuff all at the same time.
