My husband and I bought these socks to address what is apparently poor blood circulation. We're both in our early 60's, and although living in a warm southern climate, suffer from cold feet during winter nights, which can contribute to sleep deprivation if not addressed. We decided to invest in these socks for night time comfort and found the cure.

I have a big lab that needs to be taken for a long walk everyday. He doesn't care how cold it gets, in fact the colder the better for him. But for me it can get a little unbearable. In Kansas the wind can get fiercely cold, sometimes the ground gets so cold my feet ache. That's why I gave these socks a try, they performed just like everyone said, so I went back and ordered several more pair. You won't be disappointed with this product, it really is the best winter socks I have ever tried.

I love these socks. I have horses and work outside all year and these are the best I have found. The wool is on the outside and the soft fleece is on the inside so they are not only comfortable but very warm. They are not too bulky and can be worn inside boots comfortably. After trying many pairs of socks these are my favorites for snow and very cold weather.

I live on a farm in Ohio and must have 20 pairs of "boot socks" from various manufacturers, so I was somewhat skeptical that the socks from LL Bean could be that much different. WRONG - these are the best boot socks I've ever worn - warm and comfortable. I tried some of the others after I wore these - just to make sure - they are the best, and worth every penny.

Bean's ragg wool socks are great. These are even better. Keep your feet toasty warm and fit inside Bean boots perfectly.

Working outside all year round makes me look for warmth and comfort. These socks provide both!

Sincee we've had so much snow this winter, a good pair of socks is a necessity. These boot socks are the warmest we've ever used.

These socks are, to put it mildly, the BEST socks I've ever owned, bar-none, for keeping popsicle toes like mine warm in winter. I bought a pair for my husband (I've had my own pair for at least 2 years and they are still like new!) and my husband fell in love with them instantly. The fit is perfect; the different fabric weaves that are used hug your feet in all the right places. Even better than the fit is the durability. I am hard on these socks. I wear them outside on the deck or the driveway with no shoes, I throw them in the wash with whatever I'm washing at the time and dry them in the dryer - no special treatment required. They are always the first sock I look for when I'm just wanting something to wear around the house. They are very thick, so you may not be able to wear them with some of your boots/shoes, depending on how they fit. If they are snug already, you won't be able to wear these socks with them - but don't let that stop you from buying them. They are the perfect winter sock for just padding around the house, keeping your toes warm.

These are my husband's very favorite socks. He has to wear steel toed boots for his job, and is always comfortable with these on! Very durable in laundry -- well worth the price. He likes them better than other brand name hiking socks.

I bought these socks for my husband - he works outdoors in the winter in the Northeast - these are a daily necessity in his wardrobe!

I have tried other brands of outdoor boot/work socks and these socks are by far the best that I have found. If you have looked, you know the web sites. You can find less expensive brands but I can tell you that these socks wear very well and are worth the price. I work and recreate outside year around and I wear these socks year around as well. They are heavy but they wick moisture away very well. I've worn them biking out west in July & August at 95 degrees =/-, no problem.

I bought these just to check them out and see if they were all they were cracked up to be. They stay up and have great support. They keep your feet dry and toasty at work and at play.

I love these socks. very comfortable .. Use them with ankle high LLBean boots on the chicken farm. Very warm.

I recently purchased a pair of these socks to wear with the 'one size up" winter shoes and boots. These socks are great! I wear a size 12 and previously purchased two pairs of the large size which seemed a little tight. This time I bought the xl (12-15) and they fit great. They are very comfortable and keep your feet warm.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPLACED SOME PREMINUM SOCKS DUE TO A BOOT DEFECT ( WHICH THEY MADE GOOD) I WAS SURE THESE LLBEAN SOCKS WOULD NOT MATCH UP TO MY LONG STANDING BOOT SOCKS FROM A VERY QUALITY SUPPLIER. THE BEAN SOCK HAS NOW BECOME MY FIRST CHOICE FOR A QUALITY BOOT SOCK.

The sock was nice and warm and didn't scratch. Most cold weather socks itch but this pair felt smooth and comfortable. It kept my feet warm during a cold snap with wind chills down to 10 degrees.

My wife and I both love these socks. They fit great, are comfortable in texture and feel and last. They keep there fit through many washings. We recommend them to people all the time.

These socks provide just what I was looking for as a compliment for my winter/snow boots. They are warm and thick enough providing a firm fit and foot support.

That is what my daughter said when she tried these socks. I let her try a pair of mine, then I bought her 2 pairs for Christmas. She absolutely loves them. They are so soft and warm.

It just so happens that I have just entered the house after moving snow. I am wearing my new socks right now and they are very warm, my feet didn't get cold at all after being in the snow for about 40 minutes.
