I ordered these socks a year ago and wear them all the time. These are high quality socks not like those you find in the store. They are comfortable, wear well and are the best socks you can buy.

Ordered these on a whim and also because of a pair of boots just ordered from Bean with a confusing order size up/order size down deal. Well both came and the boots were to big. So smaller ones are on the way. So here I am left with these socks. Well I have a very nice (made in Italy) pair of 10 year old dress/casual boots. So on go the new socks and on go the old boots, and down to the beach the dog and I go. Those boots never felt better. The socks are great. So when we came home I brushed off the sand and polished those wonderful old boots. Now I am waiting for the Lambswool lined Bean boots to arrive to put the new boots socks on again. They really are great and (it's hard to believe) well worth the price.

I thoug;ht the Merino socks were the best, but these are one step better because of the addition of the 2% Lycra. They do not bunch up in your shoes. Very cushiony. I relieve the tops to eliminate the pressure on my legs. The weaving is such that this does not adversely effect the rest of the socks. Highly recommended.

These LL Bean socks are made in the USA, and I only support products that allow Americans to work, so I'm very happy with the socks. Nice wool, also!

Excellent value; Very comfortable, retain shape and durability despite frequent laundering. Suggest ordering a larger size than usual.

Haven't tried the socks as they were purchased specifically to be worn in Antarctica this January. But they look perfect to be worn under the waterproof boots that must be worn when you get off the ship.

I have owned these socks for years and wear them all winter with boots. I just bought them for my school-aged daughters for cold & wet weather adventures. These socks are so warm, thick, soft and extremely durable! Wish they came in different colors but that's not a big deal.

My husband LOVES these socks...his feet get extremely cool during cold/cool weather and these socks keep his feet warm and comfortable, yet dry also.

These socks have great cushion - noticed the difference the first time I used them hiking. Fit is wonderful, keeps my feet warm and dry.

I bought these socks for my husband for a hunting trip, but he liked them so much he wore them all winter - football games, sledding with our kids, shoveling snow. They're pricey but worth it - just bought more. And they aren't itchy or bulky list most similarly-intended socks.

Out of all the socks my husband has worn in the last five years, he said these are the best. He especially likes their cushioned sole; I like the way they wash and come out of the dryer, just like new.

My recent purchase of these socks was my second purchase so I knew what I was getting. I use these socks when the temps fall below zero, or when I know I will be outdoors for several hours. They are always comfortable, and don't slide down, even when I use slip on boots. My feet are always comfortable when I wear these.

I ordered these socks for my boyfriend. He loves them! They're thick socks that definitely aid in keeping your feet warm. We plan to purchase more.

I have neuropathy and my feet are never warm. These socks help tremendously.

Warm, comfortable and versatile. I use them with five different pairs of boots needed to get me through the winter. Most appreciated when I'm plowing the half-mile lane leading to our lakefront home in 15 degree temps and 25 mph winds. An hour on the tractor makes me appreciate their thermal properties. Hope they last as long as their LLB predecessors.

Originally I purchased two pair of these socks and liked them so much that I had to get two more pair. I work outside often and I found these socks keep my feet warm and dry. I have used them during the fall and winter and they have proven to wick moisture away from my feet. Great for late season upland game hunting and for XC skiing. Wash and line dry, Love them!!

Very comfortable, keeps feet dry, do shrink a small amount after several washings. Very pleased with them

My husband repairs suspensions on big rigs. When the trucks come in they are still covered in snow. That makes a very cold and wet concret floor. He use to double up his socks to try and keep his feet warm. I bought the boot socks for him as a xmass present . These socks keep his feet so warm, he has never had to double his socks again. He even asked me to buy him more pairs.And I did.

I have purchased multiple pairs of these LL Bean Boot Socks for my Father and brother. They love these socks and wear them all winter long. They are durable, comfortable and warm and wick moisture away from your feet. Not only are they worn in LL Bean boots but also in sneakers and other winter shoes. They are a "staple" in the winter and appear on their christmas lists every year.

These are awesome! They are very comfortable and super warm!! The only thing I would change about them would be the height. They are a little short for me and they tend to creep down a little as you walk. Otherwise these are great!!!

I'm so tired of department store wool socks that are holy in the heel after a few weeks. I've owned two pairs of these since November, have worn them continuously, and months later they're as good as brand new. They're so thick (yet light) that they're almost like wearing slippers. I love them with my Bean boots, but they also fit well with my Handsewn Mocs. WELL WORTH THE PRICE, FOLKS!

Ordered three more pairs, my husband loved them so much. Wash well, maintained size & shape. HIGHLY RECOMMEND as my husband's feet stayed warm and dry and super comfy.
