These socks fit the bill in the warmth department. I didn't expect the fitted elasticized ribbed upper, and wide foot area (doesn't fit close to skin--a bit wide.) They are too thick for my boots, but great for warmth around the house.

Love these socks. Just what I needed to wear with my cowboy boots when out at the barn. Keep my feet warm...love the extra cush! Wish they were not quite so expensive though.

After purchasing my first pair of Bean boot last year, I was looking for some winter socks to accompany them. These are great! Padding and flexibility right where you want it. I expect these to last for some time.

These are the best boot socks ever! Specifically made for the LL's and I won't wear any other socks when I put on my Beans.

With or without boot/shoes, walking around the house in my stocking feet, or outside with my snowshoes, these are by far the best socks I've ever put on my 58 year old feet. Bought two pair this time around. I highly recommend these!

I really like these socks, whether just walking around the house in the winter or shoveling snow when it's 20 below and windy, these socks are always warm and very comfortable.

Findly found a sock that keeps my feet warm, are comfortable, durable and don't cut off my circulation. I love them, recommend them and have just ordered two more pairs. Yes, a bit pricey for a sock but I plan on using them often and for a long, long time.

As the wind blows cold this January day in upstate New York, a pair encircle my feet. I now have half a dozen, and will order more in the future. And when my wife saw what they were like, she bought some for herself. Normally, as I sit typing at my desk, my Black Lab Kenny sleeps on my feet, keeping them warm. He still sleeps on my feet, but that's not what's keeping them warm. Great Product!

Truck driver on his feet all day so I was looking for a comfortable sock to wear with his work boots, a sock to keep his feet warm in the coldest of temps and a good sock that will not fall down at the calf after a few washings. These socks meet all the above requirements. I'd buy them again

Got one pair as a trial. Hubby liked them. Ordered more. He liked the way they stay snug around the foot, and don't slip.

these socks are by far the warmest socks I have ever owned. Having frost bitten toes when I was younger and damaging the circulation has always been a problem and never an easy solution until I bought these socks. They are the best and even for the price I'd purchase more.

Great socks. Keep my feet warm while hiking and snoeshoeing....or just around the house. Living in the Colorado with the snow I wanted my feet warm..you socks did the trick.

This sock is very well made. It is pefect for those who have room in their boots for a thick cozy sock. I had a pair of boots 1/2 size too large and they fit perfectly with them. Now my boots are more comfortable and my feet do not overheat.

Since I'm not a fan of the cold or cold feet, I purchased these years ago and been a fan since. I ordered 2 prs. for my husband this past Christmas and inadvertently ordered medium, (OK I was hoping he wouldn't love the socks as much I do, I would keep them for myself) WRONG, he loves them! He wore them to run the morning after Christmas and said they kept his feet warm, dry (due to the cool-max) and they have nice cushion to them. Off to order more since we're both happy and warm. I love these, warm, soft and comfortable!

I gave my father in law these socks and flannel lined chinos for Christmas. The family 'oohed and aah-ed' as soon as he unwrapped the socks. Bean boot socks are known for their comfort and warmth.

I work at home, and wear these socks all day long. Sometimes sleep in them. Super comfortable. Don not think of them as just socks - they are more than that, as they are so thick and keep my normally cold feet warm. Highly recommended!

My daughter attends school in Maine, so she HAD to have Bean Boots and we ordered those in November. She requested Bean Wool Socks for Christmas, but her size was sold out by the time I ordered online. I tried to get fleece socks - also sold out in her size. The Boot Socks were my third choice and she LOVES them! Thanks for making great products. We've never been disappointed - even with 3rd choice!

These were a gift and receiver compared to Smart Wool socks, thinks he may even like them better! That's a compliment!

It is a strange thing to wax poetic about socks, but if any sock deserves a dedicated ode it would be this one. Although loathe to pay such a hefty price for so pedestrian (pun intended) an item, the podiatric joy these socks provide me is well worth the expense. Be warned, they are very thick, and thus are a perfect complement to unlined Bean boots. They are pretty durable but do not last forever, eventually wearing out at the heel. The only true negative comment I can make is that since parting from them, especially in winter, is so painful, they probably do not get washed as frequently as they should.

Purchased for my wife as a gift. She loves the fit and feel and they do a good job wicking away moisture.
