Very warm, very comfy, just the right thing to wear inside your Bean Boots

The sock is very well made and comfortable. The lining has more loft because of longer yarn loops which helps by wicking away moisture and kept my feet warmer. You'll need to allow for the extra thickness by adding at least one size to your footwear.

I had always heard how wonderful these are but never tried them because of the price. Now I know they're worth every penny. I bought them as boot socks for horseback riding. My problem with other socks, was they were warm but couldn't keep my feet dry while riding, so soon after my feet were frozen. I'm happy to report these socks do an awesome job of keeping my feet warm and DRY all day! Plus I can throw them in the washer and drier (on regular) and they're ready to go. Mine didn't shrink at all when dried either.

These socks are the perfect cold-weather socks. You might doubt how warm your feet will feel, but it won't last long. Put them on your feet and you'll forget that it's even cold outside because your toes will be toasty! I haven't had the socks for long, but I anticipate that they will last for a long, long time.

Love these for cold weather hiking in hunting boots. I wear 9.5 boots. I bought large but they do shrink a bit after a wash. SO, I'll buy more but in XL.

These are great socks for cold winter days! Soft on the inside and very very warm. I bought some for my son so he could keep warm at school in upstate NY!

We purchased new L.L. Bean boots which my husband loved and then ordered 2 pair of these boot socks to wear underneath for added warmth and cushion. He absolutely loves them. Says that his feet never got cold even when we had the 10 degree below weather. I since have ordered 4 more pair. I also read the reviews and thank you everyone... he was not disappointed either.

These socks were "just what the Doctor ordered" so to speak. I like the thick padded soles. They are warm and don't make my feet itch or sweat. They wash well and retain their shape without shrinking.

The L.L. Bean Socks are very comfortable and my feet did not sweat in my new Bean Hunting boots. I will definitely order extra pairs before the next hunting season.

One of the best socks available. They did seem to shrink a little after washing but other than that excellent product.

Held off on the review until we had some cold weather. Got it !! A major snow storm, with wind chill -18 degrees. Wore these socks for the first time, along with a pair of L.L Bean's Wildcat boots, and I believe it's the L.L. Bean Tuckerman winter jacket, both which I purchased several years ago, and was very happy with the comfort and the warmth of everything. I was outdoors in the cold and a 25 mph wind for about 2 hours, and although my big toes were beginning to get cold, the socks held up very well. One thing, they do tend to run a little small, I take an 11, these were a Lg. for 9-12 and were a little snug. Also, would like to add, the Wildcat Boots and jacket are the best I have ever owned. Highly recommend their winter gear.

My husband wore these today for the 1st time after a snow storm and wind chill of -5 and his feet stayed warm and dry while outside shoveling and walking in the snow. I am so glad I bought these for him. Thanks!!!

My brothers ask for these every Christmas. They wear well and provide good cushioning for long, cold hikes.

My husband loves these socks, warm and cozy, he works outside a lot in the winter. Expensive but worth the extra cost. I did get them half price, but will be buying another pair soon.

My husband is tall and thin and his hands and feet are always cold, these socks are all he wears in our NY winters. They are warm, comfortably soft, and wear like iron , lasting a year or more these are definitely worth the price!

I wore these during a trip to the East Coast during Winter. My feet stayed toasty warm the whole time. I have 2 pair and would buy more if I lived in a colder climate. Now that I'm back on the West Coast, I wear these around the house with my LL Bean slippers. Definitely worth the money.

MY SON-IN LAW WAS THRILLED WITH THESE SOCKS AND SO PLEASED THAT I THOUGHT OF HIM OUT IN THE COLD SHOVELING SNOW. A PERFECT GIFT FOR THE OUT DOOR ACTIVITIES AND EVEN JUST FOR KEEPING COMMUTER'S FEET WARM NOT LIMITED TO MEN I AM SURE WOMEN WOULD APPRECIATE THEM AS WELL. IN FACT, SMALLER SIZE WOULD SUIT CHILDREN.
