Purchased these for Christmas gifts two years ago for my three brothers in law. Their wives all told me afterward that the "boys" love these socks. So,I bought them each another pair last Christmas. Purchased another pair last month for one BIL who is currently at home very ill. His wife told me these boot socks are the only ones he wants to wear because they are just so comfortable and warm.

Bought these for wear with the LLBean Boots I gave my husband for his birthday. They are soft, warm, non itchy and stay up. My husband loves them (and his new boots)

I love these. Perfect in the boot, great for stomping around in the cold and wet, and they stay warm, They take the boot abuse well, but you do need to wash these inside out, as the outer side sheds when washed. They ARE wool, and I've liked them so much, I've bought 4 pairs so far.

This is my second pair and they are great. They are warm and comfortable. Kept my feet warm and dry all day during the tough winter we had in the Northeast this year.

These socks are comfortable and fit well. Price is the same as another well known hunting outfitter. Most of all they are Made in the USA!

I have had really cold feet before I had used my winter socks from LL Bean. I found that if I had a better pair of socks with no slipping down my leg or try to crawl over my heel I would use them every winter. This past winter I have been using them quiet a lot, even the south was cold and the ground hard. I used my socks daily in my winter boots to put horses out and do chores in the barn. My feet stayed very warm and dry. I would recommend them to anyone who wants warm comfortable feet. I also found that I didn't sweat in them either.

I first bought 2 pair , just to try them out . I Loved them , so I ordered 2 more .. They hold up to washing and drying very well . No shrinkage issues etc

A perfect fit. Looking for heavy socks to be worn with work boots. Husband states these heavy socks feel very comfortable. Very glad to find socks in XL (fits up to size 15 shoes).

I have several different types of boot and winter socks and these are the best. They are thick, warm and don't smoother my feet or feel too tight. Some of the other socks are so form fitted that they are almost too tight. I am wearing them with my Bean Boots that are low quarter shearling lined waterproof. My feet stayed dry and warm today in wintery weather which was cold and wet. I had to wait a few weeks for these but well worth the wait. Enjoy them!

Bought these socks to go with a pair of brown clogs that are a little loose in the heel, it is really cold this week and have been wearing them the last few days and my feet are warm and they have a thick bottom. I walk around the house in my sock feet to not track so much dirt in from the outside, hoping they will hold up and not get holes in the heels like my Hanes socks do. Good purchase and I got a 10.00 dollar discount due to a previous purchase at LL bean

My husband frequently complains about being cold, but since I bought him 2 pair of these socks for Christmas, the complaints have ceased. He reports that they do fill out his shoes more than regular socks but that it is not uncomfortable. The socks breathe well also. I bought him a 3rd pair and he wears these socks all the time now.

Best boot socks I ever had. With all this snow & wet weather, my feet stay dry & warm. No sweating feet , just right. Wash in cold water than hang to dry, comes out soft & fresh.

I have worn these socks several times and they are great socks. They have been warm in our extremely cold weather in Maine this winter. I am pretty thick all over and my legs are no exception. These socks are quite tight around the top and do cut into my leg just below the calf muscle. I think for most folks this would never be an issue but it is with me. I tend to wear quarter high socks most of the time because most socks that are crew or boot height do the same thing to my legs. This is not that bad but they are tight at the top. The upside to the fact that they are tight is that the socks are very elastic on top and should stay up inside almost any boots.

I was hesitant to spend $20 for socks but they have been well worth the investment. They are warm, durable and keep their shape. They do not sag or shift on my feet and are the perfect pairing to my LLB boots. I'm ordering another pair just to always have one clean set. They have been keeping me comfortable in our consistently single digit temperatures this winter.

2nd pair I've bought. When it's cold out I just don't want to wear anything else. Great boot sox. I always wear them with liners, but it's not really necessary, I'm used to them and it feels better to me that way. I havent tried, but maybe too heavy for warm weather use.

I love the weight of these socks and wear them with my work boots. 5 stars!

I bought these in December on a whim......just in from shoveling snow, my toes, which are usually frost bitten by now are toasty warm. I KNOW what everyone is getting for Christmas next year! Can we make these as mittens?

I am a lazy guy. I wash all my clothes together and then put them all in the dryer at high heat. Under those conditions, these socks will shrink. While my sock size is Large, I had to buy X-Large. Love the socks. Wore them camping in northern Maine in a variety of boots.

These are the most comfortable sock for the Bean boot. A must have.

I purchased 2 pairs, as my husband is on his feet and works out of doors part of the time - these are thicker, with some nice padding on the soles of the socks, which are great. They are also very warm, and the wool is truly soft and not scratchy. Great socks for the winter.
