I am a woman who wears a size 11 boot. These socks fit perfectly. They are warm, comfortable and are not itchy. They stay up with just the right amount of stretch. Nice cushioning on the soles. I will definitely be buying more of them.

Our recent record breaking snowfall in New York City allowed me to break in my new boot socks and LL Bean boots. They both performed amazingly together. The socks kept my feet warm and dry and were surprisingly soft. I love them and hope to wear them on wintery days for years to come.

Love this socks--spent the extra money on these rather than other socks on the website and was extremely glad I did. Warm lining, but not too thick--easy to wear with boots and other footwear without feeling too cramped. These socks are great!

It was - 6 out tonight, wore these shoes with my LL Bean boots. Happy warm feet was the result. Enough said.

I ordered these socks for my hubby as a Christmas gift. He loved them; said they are a great fit and weight. Not too heavy for daily use but likely suitable for winter hiking etc.

My adult sons and husband request these socks in their stocking every year. They are warm, soft, and sturdy. We all wear SmartWool and FIT socks and these are the same high quality. LLBean always has consistent workmanship and quality which is why I shop there.

My husband loves these socks whether short or tall.

Purchased this for the second time in two years as year end gifts. The recipients had really liked them and used them with satisfaction. Very pleased with the entire experience of ordering,, receiving in a timely manner and giving them as gifts that I know would be appreciated and used. The only one thing I would suggest is on labeling. The women's stocks I ordered was labeled unisex when I received it. Not a big problem except that I might have ordered the same for both genders.

I got these socks for my husband's birthday. He has other wool socks that are not as well made as these socks from LLBean. He should have these socks for a long time.

my son is a door to door milkman in RI he needs to be in and out of his truck all day into ice, snow and freezing rain in the winter...these are perfect for him. No mom could resist keeping her "baby" warm!and dry!

These were a present for my dad and he wears his socks hard. In addition to wearing and working in them all day long, he comes home and walks around the house in them. And a few years later they are still going strong. Highly recommend!

My son-in-law loves these socks. He asked for them again this year He works outside in the cold and wet. He said they keep his feet warm and dry.

These may be the best socks I've ever bought for winter wear. My Redbone coonhound needs a lot of exercise every day, despite the weather, so I need socks that will keep my feet warm for an extended time outside. So far, it has only got to 26 degrees, so I can't comment on lower temperatures, but my feet stayed warm enough so that I didn't even think about them after an hour out with Belle. My boots are not insulated, but my guess is that I'll do fine with a pair of sock liners and these socks when the temperature gets colder.

I purchased these for the troops, so will never get an eval from the user. However, on arrival these socks were the heft of quality socks and seemed perfect for soldier use. I'm making the assumption they are 5 stars, since I have rarely been disappointed with LLB quality.

These socks are my latest favorite pair! They are thick enough to satisfy me (a thick sock fan) without being so thick that one can't wear them with shoes. They absorb moisture and do not itch. I ordered the khaki- they will go with anything. The sizing is perfect. I want more!

I have very poor circulation in my feet; therefore, my feet are always freezing! I decided to invest in several pairs of wool socks. I purchased 4 different pairs from L.L Bean, and these are my favorite! They are so warm and cozy! Definitely would recommend for wearing with boots and around the house on a chilly day.

My family loves the LLBean wool socks. They keep your feet warmer and wear longer than any other socks we have tried. The Boot Socks are heavier and padded more than the other weight socks we have. These socks are also nice to wear with our slippers! Overall, LLB products are of excellent quality. I have been shopping with LLB since 1986.

I have used three pair of LLB Boot Socks backpacking for years. They have over five hundred miles on granite WY mountains in 70 to -10 degrees rain, sleet and snow. The three new 2015 pair with only 125 miles look like the five hundred mile pair. Excellent rugged reliable socks in all conditions.

I bought three different pairs of socks and I'm very please with the quality. Just as described. Comfortable in my l.l. Bean boots.
