They were very comfortable, cushioning my feet and keepping them warm.

Great sock for all day comfort. Stays warm even when wet and does not mat down as the day goes on but stays cushy. I have bought several pairs of high quality socks from LLBEAN and these are the best yet. These are my "go to" hunting socks now are are a good height for my hunting boots . Another great value from LLBEAN!

I like good wool socks. Smart wool and Darn Tough's are both good in my book but these LL Bean socks are the best. Thick, warm comfy with a top that is not to snug but stays up well anyway... I will be buying more of these.

To be fair, I haven't tried many different pairs of cold weather socks. I purchased these socks about a year after buying my bean boots. My initial thought was- shoot, why did I wait so long to buy these? They are the perfect compliment to the bean boots. I am not a sock person. These are the only socks I'll wear around the house during the winter. They are extremely thick and comfortable. They generally stay up, I don't tug at them too often. Thick and warm, perfect addition to a bean boot or as a house sock.

Perfect boot socks - nice padding underfoot without being so heavy that your shoes don't fit. Soft soft soft. Really like them. I ordered the blue - it's a light slatey kind of blue. I am particular about my socks - these are good! I wear a size 7-1/2 or 8 shoe; the Medium size fit fine. And no toe seam to rub. Two thumbs up!

Very warm and comfortable

I've purchased quite a few of these. Our whole family uses these socks in winter. Fits true to size. Very warm. I highly recommend them.

I've bought two pairs of this sock for myself, and I've bought two pairs for my husband. We both love them and wear them all the time. They are great boot socks, but I also like wearing them around the house when it's cold out. Very comfy and warm!

L.L.Bean delivered exactly what I expected...excellent quality and value

It seems that, when socks are washed, they lose two sizes and are very hard to put on. These retained their size and are still very comfortable.

My husband had me order more of these socks. Loves them. Works well with his heavy work boots.

These Bean Boot socks are the best socks for inside waders, all year long. They are taller than regular hiking socks and in my opinion they have better cushioning. I have several pair that I rotate in. Of course they're also great in Bean Boots, especially unlined ones. They are very sturdy and wear very well.

As are most L.L.Bean products, they are extremely well made and should give many years of comfortable, snug, service.

These socks are great! They are soft and comfy and keep my feet super warm. They are great in my Keen hiking boots or just to wear around the house! I will definitely order these again!!

I am a Californian living through my first Chicago winter. My only regret about these socks is that I can't wear them every day. They make my feet so happy.

I had some concerns about wearing boot socks at work, but these socks are so comfortable that I didn't even know that I had them on. They are also good as slippers and I can wear them around the house if the floors are chilly.

These socks were a real find -- I picked them up while on the search for another winter item (which I bought). Happened to see these while standing in the check-out line at the Dedham, MA LL Bean store. Just what I had been looking for but having a hard time finding elsewhere & hadn't realized existed at Bean's! These are sturdy & thick, very much comparable in quality to more expensive competing brands. I've been giving them a workout in below zero to plus 15 degree (F) days with a liner sock inside. They fill the boots but are not over-thick and they do the job -- my feet have not been cold since buying these. They wash well. After several washes in the last 4 weeks, I haven't noticed any shrinkage in the extra large size I bought for my size 13 feet. These are keepers, a true discovery and a real cushioned pleasure to wear outdoors as socks and indoors as comfortable wool slippers that keep off the chill.

Gave these slippers to my daughter for Christmas and she loves them. My other daughter now wants a pair. A little pricey for slippers but well made and looks as though they will last.
