I bought this quality wool sock to wear with my tallish LL Bean Warden boots. Having hiked probably 6 times in the snow they have provided warmth, comfort, and cushion against the snug fit of the top of the boot. I'm very happy with them.

These are most comfortable and warm socks! They bear the trademark of LL Bean on them because it is a product of pride.

I was due for some cold weather socks and although these are pricey, I feel they are worth every penny.

These socks are worth every penny! The only thing that I don't like is that unlike the hiker socks which are marked with the size!

These socks are not super hot or thick . I was so grateful for that! They are perfect for slipping on with a pair of boots to truck out into the snow or the cold. I love them !

Believe it, far superior to Alpaca, Cashmere and Merino, these socks are the best for boots and boot-like shoes ......they are great and very durable

These warm, thick, well constructed socks were one of the best investments that I made this year. I was experiencing back and knee pain after taking my dog for walks. Inspection of my shoes showed worn treads and flattened insoles. My aches and pains were coming from the pounding my feet were taking. Investing in some well made, well fitted shoes and these LL Bean boot socks relieved my pain almost instantly. Keeping my feet warm, dry, and cushioned while plodding around the neighborhood when the temperature is in the single digits is key to keeping my whole body warm and comfortable throughout the walk, and they keep me warm and toasty when I kick off my shoes and relax at home. These are by far the best and warmest socks I have ever owned. I work outside all day long and sometimes all night long too. I now do not have to work about my feet getting cold.

I've only had these for a few weeks but I love them. Very comfortable, fit is true to size. I can't comment on performance yet because I've worn them twice. I hope they wear well and if they do I'll buy more

Best sock on the market to pair with a Bean Boot and all others I've ever worn. Warm, functional, comfortable and well-made. I've put these to the test; hunting, fishing, hiking, winter camping, ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, building and everyday work. Also cozy on my tootsies kicked up at camp with a coffee or libation. My feet are always warm & dry, no matter the task. They stay in place....no bunched up socks. I've been putting these to the test for almost 10 years now and have yet to totally wear a pair out or experienced any issues. Bonus - They also double as excellent mittens for those times your companions forget their gloves. Enjoy!

The most amazing wool socks I've ever owned! My Mother bought me a pair of these when I first moved from Florida to Colorado. I've been here 18 years and these socks have been keeping me warm that entire time! The first pair lasted me 16 years! I have since bought 2 other pair, one for campaign, the other for around the house. I order a few other brands out of curiosity but truthfully, they were all sh*t compared to these bad boys. If you get cold feet, these are the answer!

These socks are critical to keeping your feet warm when wearing your Maine Hunting shoes (Bean Boots). Sorry, I'm old school! The socks will keep your feet toasty and dry in cold temps. Must have if you own Bean Boots!

Sock thicker and meant for winter, boot hiking. Cushion to toes excellent. Washes well and is very durable over time. Fits to size.
