I got the small. I wear 6-1/2 or 7 shoes. I like that they are fitted and snug. If I wanted a little loose I'd get the medium. I'm stocking up on the small. Love the colors too.

These socks go well with the Bean Boots; they are comfortable and maintain their shape after having been washed.

The cotton ragg socks are thick and warm but can still be worn with boots.

My daughter was going to the ski mountain fort he first time and had no warm equipment. We got the socks at llbean because my own hiking socks were very helpful. When she got back from snowboarding she had fallen a lot, but never once complained of painful or cold feet. When i asked how her warm clothes worked out she said "fine". Which in teenage speak means they worked great cause I have no complaints. I would buy them again especially after seeing her wear them again without being asked.
