I love my docs, and I love them even more with these socks it's as though they were insulated, yet they breathe. Wonderful.

I buy these socks for my husband. His feet are damaged from diabetes. They are always cold. These socks provide him with warmth year round. They don't bind and the upper section does not fall down or even sag. He has 8 pairs but 2 of them he has had for about 5 or 6 years and are still in excellent condition. You just don't wear them out. I machine wash and machine dry them with no fading or shrinkage.

I bought these for my father and he loves them! The wool socks don't shrink as much as cotton socks. They keep his feet warm and dry while he's working outside.

I've purchased these socks for myself and as gifts to family members for 20 years and have never been disappointed or had anyone disapprove. Everyone looks forward to receiving the socks. The originals are still keeping us warm in Northeast Ohio. They are comfortable, stylish, hold their shape and last forever, well almost forever, that's yet to be determined.

I own ten pairs of these socks and they are the only thing I want to wear during the hard Northeastern winters (of course in combination with my Gore-tex/Thinsulate Bean Boots.) I talk about these socks enough that my friends have started to believe I'm a brand ambassador. Do yourself a favor and pick up as many pairs as you can. I'm a size 9 (women) and find that the medium fits perfect.

Bought this for my hiking boots to stay warm on really cold mornings. They fit great and are comfortable in the hiking boots. Not to warm and not cold.

These socks are true to fit and they keep your feet nice and warm and dry! I would definitely recommend these Merino Wool socks to anyone who has cold feet like me! They go great with any LL Bean shoes or Hiking Boots, a good 3 Season pick!

I couldn't make it through the winter without these. They are warm, soft, stay up on your leg real good and wash up famously. They are kinda pricey (2pr for 34.95), but I have to say they are worth it. I wear a womens size 8 shoe and buy the sox in a mens medium. You must treat yourself to several pair.

Having size 11 feet, socks tend to be so tight they bind the toes or I punch holes in them after a wearing or two. I love having socks that actually fit, particularly after they've been washed. Very warm and comfortable.

These socks are my new go-to! Just the right thickness and softer than I was expecting. They stay up nicely but aren't too tight. I'd definitely get more.

These socks are wonderfully soft and warm. I washed them with a normal load of clothes on warm/cold and forgot to take them out before putting the load in the dryer on medium for 40 minutes. They didn't shrink! They stayed exactly the size and texture as when I bought them. Yay!

I first bought these socks (blue) last year and wear them constantly. One friend made a comment that besides being warm merino wool socks don't stink. Have worn these socks constantly with my hiking boots for the last year and no holes yet. Bought them again a month ago just in case I needed a backup pair. The amount of wool in the mix is pretty high compared to others I've seen. Definitely worth it. I am a real LL Bean customer and this review is mine.

These socks nail it for me. I wear them with Bean boots for birdwatching on the rocks and plein air painting. I wear them around the house as slippers and on cold nights I sleep in them. What I like best about the socks is they do not cut off circulation and yet stay up. so warm and comfortable. I have been around long enough to try all the socks from everywhere, these are the best.

Purchased these socks because I wanted a good sock that wasn't too tight around my ankle and made of wool because they wick sweat. They also reduce odor. These socks exceeded my expectations. As always L.L. Bean delivers a quality product. You may pay a bit more but the quality lasts a long time and is worth the money for sure.

I bought a few pairs of these last winter after moving to Pennsylvania and ended up buying more pairs after realizing I wanted to wear them every day. I own ten pairs and can say they are worth every penny for the warmth. My feet stay comfortable and dry throughout the day in these. They are really soft and well made.

These socks are so warm and so comfortable. I always buy a big size, since I have arthritis in my feet. These are like wearing cushioned slippers inside my shoes. Machine wash and dry is so convenient! I live in the foothills of the Sierras in California and it gets pretty cold here. Our only heat is with a wood burning stove. With these socks, I always have warm feet. And I love the colors, especially the new one Canyon Copper. What a fun color!

I have purchased these socks every Christmas for my family and they are always expected now. We have hikers and fishermen in the family who appreciate the warmth of these socks, no matter what color they receive.
