I really like this hat, It is light weight and stylish. The small/med size is snug on me but not uncomfortable. I am 5,9 160lbs.

I don't wear hats. I'm an earmuff girl. But when I saw this, I fell in love. It is supercute, extremely warm, and the fur is very soft and realistic. My only complaint is that I don't look like the model when I wear it.

I like this hat, it is really cold in upstate NY in the winters. For days it's below 35 degrees, I put on this hat I just got. My ears stay warm. The tie under the chin is too small and a bit hard to snap together, and it's a bit tight on me. I would have LL Bean fix that issue. I read reviews where customers noted that, but I still thought I would enjoy the warm hat. If it's windy I have to put the strap on because it blows right off my head. I know I will have this for many years. By the time it wears out, I'm hoping to be living in Florida where I may retire to. LOL......

Anyone who says this hat isn't warm is wrong. It may not look the part when you first see it, but I've been using it for years, and even in below-0 degree Fahrenheit weather it blocks the cold out almost entirely! The clasp is a bit tricky, and if you have manual dexterity issues or are wearing thick gloves it's likely to be a problem, but I've never really had an issue with it. Also the hat works without clasping, though if there's a strong windchill it does partially expose the ears. In slightly warmer weather I sometimes fasten the clasp on top of my head to keep the ear flaps out of the way, which can be a convenient way to wear it as well.

Warm, cozy and very cute. It really prevents the chill. You can use the ear flap or not. I wear is whenever it's cold and windy!

Before purchasing this hat, I had never worn a bomber hat. Since I'm happy with most of my purchases at LL Bean, I thought I'd give it a shot. I wear it in temperatures under 20 degrees along with my long LL Bean down coat and LL Bean gloves. It keeps me warm, especially when the wind kicks up. The clasp is tricky so I only use it when shoveling snow. But it fits well and keeps my head and ears warm. I'm sure I'll use it for years to come.

This hat is absolutely great, I love it! New York is having a cold winter again, after a few mild years. This year has brought bitter, vicious winds, and I'm SO glad I had bought this; the S/M size fits nicely and covers the slight back-of-the-neck gap of my hooded parka (the hood is zip-off) so that the wind doesn't get to me. I also bought LL Bean's matching mittens and love those too. most winters I need to wear gloves plus mittens, but these mittens have been good even without gloves inside. My glove size is usually 7-1/2 or 8, and the Bean gloves M size is good.

This had is warm without making my head look big which can be typical of bomber hats.

I have a small head and this hat is perfect for our Wisconsin wintery days.

I got fed up with feeling cold this winter and stocked up on a few serious cold weather items including this hat. To me, it's not very trendy but at this point, I don't care because it keeps me warm. It kept my head and ears toasty warm when walking the dogs and it stayed in place - some of my other hats shift around as I move and cover my eyes or pull away from my ears. My only advice is that you need a scarf for the back of your neck. You'd probably use a scarf anyway, if it's cold enough to pull out this hat.

I ordered a size L/XL and it fits my average-sized head just fine. The faux fur is very soft and comfortable. This hat keeps my cheeks & head warm in the cold, winter Kansas wind as I walk the dog.

This product is excellent for warmth and softness.

I didn't think I would like the look, but I do.. and it's an incredible feeling of warmth and snuggly(?) that caused me to write this review. I'm outside 3 hours a day, and this is going to do it for me this winter.

very warm, well designed, very comfortable , does not have lint or shed in any way, I like that the clasp is small, I hope they have this again next year- purple? best part is the larger size- I have a big head- hats that fit are hard to find- this fits perfectly really cute too

The hat is perfect for Western Mass wind and weather. The strap is a drawback. Consider a button-and-loop closing. (I made my own.) Or let the flaps hang loose!

I love these hats! I've got two in different colors. These helped me survive the crazy winter of 2015 here in Greater Boston. They are unbelievably warm and will keep your head cozy no matter how low the mercury dips and how hard the wind blows. Perfect for when you're shoveling snow or walking the dog. I wish that they would improve the clasp; in one of my hats, it sometimes sticks, but otherwise I have no complaints and only praise. They run true to size. People always stop me and ask where I got mine.

Cute and very warm. I love that it covers my ears and cheeks. I love that this hat comes in larger sizes. That is hard to find in womens' hats. I love that LLB has larger hats and longer pants for women. I washed it and it washed very well. I actually put it in the washer and dryer and it was fine. The clasp works great. I like that it's small.

I have this hat in bright pink. I use this hat when it is very cold or windy. It is wonderful for cold treks to the henhouse or shoveling in the cold. It is very warm, protecting the side of the face. In normal winter weather I find it too warm...but it sure has it useful place in the extremes.

I absolutely love this hat. It's very soft and ver warm. Good visibility, blocks the wind, keeps my cheeks a little warmer, too.

Very easy to throw on and hair is not compromised.

I got the lage size and I am not large (5"2") ad it s fits perfectly, looks nice, lightweight, and the clip closure reminds me of the plastic clips used for small dog collars.It's not too difficult to use. I got the white. It matches everything.

This hat is perfect to wear walking the dog at times when I wear a coat with no hood. The hat is very warm and shuts out the wind by covering your cheeks when the earlappers are down. The design covers your skull securely down to the neck even in size L/X. Also, I wanted something vegan. Just wish we had more fun colors.

Quality item, warm, unparalleled soft fleece! A definite splurge, but worth the money to feel this good!
