Have bought these over the years for gifts and personal use. They are so well made and last forever. Have different sizes and are perfect for gifts.

This is fantastic to go to the upper peninsula to the cabin packing many different things. I have quite a number of different sizes for different items-quilting, counted cross stitch, journaling, food, clothes and for day trips north. They are easy to pack and transfer to the cabin.

I had this monogrammed. It arrived just as I ordered, and nice-looking. I appreciate the sturdiness of this bag, and the fact that it has a zip top to keep everything in safely.

This is a rugged, practical, and timeless boat and tote canvas bag by L.L. Bean. I had to have one. I use it as my carry everything bag. I got the medium with the long handles. It fits just about everything including a laptop.

So much space and very well constructed !!!! Will last for years and years to come. And the long handles are a huge plus.

This is the best all purpose bag I've owned- the weight and durability of the fabric help it stand up on its own, the zip top only adds to its utility. Highly recommended.

Excellent bag. Sturdy and well made. Looks great. Based on the posted measurements, I ordered an X-Large...however in reality it's huge. I'd suggest ordering one size smaller than what you think you'd need.

I love this bag! It holds everything I need. It retains it shape and it zips up. This is an absolute classic and it has already replaced all of my other bags!

I was tired of zippers jamming and straps breaking. And going thru cheap purse after purse just for everyday use. Then I had a brainstorm looking at the l.l.bean magazine! The small tote makes a perfect everyday , running errands purse! And if you pick a little one up out of a shopping cart who likes to step on your purse for leverage, those straps are staying put! And you can take it camping and not worry about a little dirt. i love it! I am disappointed that there has been a decrease in selection of colors and patterns on the main body of the tote!

I have a half dozen or so of these and use them for various purposes: laundry basket, pool bag, daycare bag, car bag, etc. The bags are durable, attractive, and made in America. Like any long-lived, quality product, they develop a patina over time.

It is very well made and looks very nice. I chose to have a letter embroidered on it which makes it look even nicer. While I haven't tested the 500lb limit my 60lb daughter sat in it and I carried her around the house in it and it handled it very well. I did buy a bigger bag than I needed but it works very well.
