Where to start this is the bag of bags. It is sturdy. It is beautiful. It holds everything including the kitchen sink you name it. It's stunning lol I initially had one in the 90s. Not sure what happened to it, but I had to order it again and I'm so glad I did. But most importantly, I want to talk about a customer service rep named Peggy. I'm not sure if Peggy will remember me or not, but I will never forget her. There was a little mishap with the embroidery and when I spoke to Peggy about it, I got emotional because it was to do with my pet who passed away. Peggy not only made it right, but also reminded me that there are wonderful people. I really hope Peggy's boss will see this because she is an amazing human

I have quite a few canvas totes from many companies and nothing beats an LL Bean Boat and Tote! I only wish they offered more embroidery options / longer length.

Purchased in slate blue, zippered, long handles. This is the perfect everyday bag. I carry my laptop and iPad along with my wallet and two water bottles in it. It's timeless look will have me carrying this for years!

Feels super lux not your average tote. It's so sturdy! I'm not used to this. I'm used to flimsy material that I find it bulky but I'm starting to get used to it. So far as my everyday bad no stains. Weirdly I haven't used to zipper even though I really wanted it

This bag is what dreams are made of! I love using my large boat and tote as a teacher bag. It fits everything I want to carry to school inside, with room to spare. I got it embroidered with my last name and plan on using this for years and years.

The boat and tote is such a great quality bag. It is well constructed to be sturdy, but is also stylish. It holds a ton of stuff (I have medium zip). I got my name in a neutral color and will change up my bag with pins and scarves, making it extremely versatile.

I bought the natural small tote and I carry it around like my purse. I get a bunch of complements. Perfect for summer!

This tote can fit SO MUCH! I started off with the regular sized tote W/ the regular handles, but because it was being filled to its limit with my supplies for work, it started to show lots of signs of wear. I decided to upgrade to something larger with more room for everything to fit in nicely, and this tote just nailed it. Plus it's LL Bean, so you just know that you're getting superb quality. *I also got the zipper closure & the bigger straps. I'm 10/10 happy with my purchase*

I purchased the large, zip top boat and tote as part of a bridal shower gift. The mauve color trim matched the shower color theme. I also personalized the tote bag with the bridal couple's shared monogram, as well as noting the year of the wedding. Tucked inside the tote were 2 sets of LLBEAN Organic towels which were also monogrammed. Truly appreciated and fabulous way to gift wrap a present;)

This tote is the best! I use it when traveling and it is made extremely well. Worth every penny. I had it personalized and it turned out so nice.

I got this right before our beach vacation. This is the perfect beach bag for a small family! Towels fit easily and there is still plenty of room for other items. I've also used the bag for a weekend trip and it was perfect. I got standard blue thread with slate bag (for monochromatic look). Happy with how the thread color turned out. It is slightly off a perfect match but it isn't noticeable.
