Got the extra large with a zipper. Used it for a trip to Ireland. Got with Kelly green trip and embroidery. Very sturdy and holds a ton. Looks great.

This is my favorite bag. I bought it for a baby gift and had a baby's name put on it every new parent I have given it to has loved this as a room decoration, etc..

The zipper tote is my go bag for overnight stays and short trips. It holds all my clothes and toiletries I need for a couple of days.

Bag is my work out bag for the gym. Holds shoes, keys and towel for trip. Have similar bags and they wear extremely well. They are cold water wash when needed.

I still have my first boat totes from 14 years ago & the heavy canvas has done the job as expected. I use both for beach and pool days!

My family owns about 5 of these in different sizes and colors. We use them for handbags, beach/pool, overnight trips, and storage. We add a monogram or name and alternate between the zippered and open version depending on purpose. They are durable, functional, and classic. There will be more of these purchases in my future.

My daughter was excited to get this bag as a present from her grandfather on our recent trip to the flagship store in Freeport. The staff was very helpful in selecting the bag and completing the monogram process. She likes the size of the bag and that it can be zippered closed. She had wanted this bag for awhile as she has seen many people walking around the streets of NYC with one. She is looking forward to having this for many year! Thanks for the memories LLBean!!

LLBean totes are well made, however, I only wish that the small original canvas was a little softer, also would like all the other totes have the option of short and long handles.
