Customer Reviews L.L.Bean Zip Top Boat and Tote Large

The bags are the Best quality l have ever used. I have noticed Black and dark blue tend to fade / or lose its color when left out in the sun for long periods of time.

You can carry so much and never worry about a strap breaking.

Well built and holds everything. An excellent purchase

Very good quality, love the ability to monogram, super durable

I ordered the large zip top with intention for travel. On the image it didn't look that large but in reality, it's quite large. I must have filled it with too much stuff because my shoulder was aching when my trip was over. Right at first use, it stained so that that had me googling how to clean it. Wish the handles could have been softer (easier on the shoulders) but other than that, love how the bag stands up so you can easily put things inside.

As usual, this tote is amazing!! Such great quality.

My granddaughter loved her Tote, she now has three monogrammed given to her as a gift.

I bought this for my daughter as she's off for her senior year at Michigan State University. I was hoping it would serve as a pre-graduation gift for her. I'm a utilitarian so I thought this would be great coming from me. Her response to me refarding it, "Boat and tote is getting a lot of compliments today!".

This is now my go to wedding gift! I fill it with items that match their adventurous spirit.

I bought this a month ago. It's a birthday present for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. Really loves the size and heavy construct ion.

Love this bag, use it every day - good size. Only wish there was also a size between the medium and large!

These bags are well made and perfect to use for carrying stuff for our dogs when we travel with them. Highly recommend!

Love this tote and the newer size options. Super sturdy and has the long handle option. Also has a top zipper as a new feature. Only drawback is that there is no internal pocket, which I really recommend L.L. Bean add.

Good quality and workmanship! This extra large size neatly carries large items.

I've had other totes that look like LL Bean totes. Trust me, they are not the same. I LOVE my LL Bean totes.

The bag is wonderful! My favorite thing is how well it holds its shape! Ans it is so cute! I love it!

I purchased the extra-large size to hold all of my kayak gear: life vest, kayak cover, straps for roof rack, towels, wet shoes, water bottle, etc. It has room for all of that and then some, and it still zips closed! I am very pleased. P.S. the kayak is LL Bean also P.P.S. The video about how the bags are made helped me understand why I had to wait for mine. Very glad that you don't outsource their production.

Gorgeous great quality perfect for the beach and the office

Excellent quality, fits so much, love the zipper to keep contents from falling out. The long straps make it comfortable to carry on shoulder. Would absolutely recommend this bag!!

Zipper top is just what we needed to keep our stuff in the bag. Thick, heavy canvas. Should last a lifetime.

Just used for first tine and I LOVE it! Held all my needs for a weekend away including my pillow. The long handles make it easy to carry. Zipper top so I don't lose anything. One trip in and out of car.

Super cute!! The medium with the long handles is the perfect size for a work tote and it's well constructed!

Everyday work bag that I absolutely love. Fits lunch bag and anything else to get me through the day! The zipper allows for a bit more secured space and at times feels like it is a Mary Poppins bag!

I have gone on a spectacularly long journey to finally get this bag. I did some research on tik tok to decide my specific size I wanted, as well as the colors, strap length and font, and that I definitely wanted a zipper. Somehow each of the specific qualities I wanted were fully out of stock. I even went to Maine twice in this time from Ohio, each time the flagship store escaped me. All of this to say, When i finally checked the website to see all of these options were availible, I was elated! When I received the bag, I was impressed with the intention that was put into the construction. as my sewing instructor once said about me, "she likes bags strong nough to carry cinderblocks in" this definitely meets criteria. I like that the bag doesnt flop over either. This bag is truly perfect for what I needed, and I love carrying it with me. I also received a card that becky did my stitching, and she KILLED IT thank you Becky for your exceptional attention to detail. It is truly flawless.

Great size. Awesome for travels. Fits so much! Beautiful stitching :)
