A traditional L.L. Bean item. Goid quality but, unfortunately, expensive.

I bought 2 large totes with long handles for my kids. I'm loading them up with their Christmas gifts. I love the bags so much I bought one for myself.

Would be better if a little taller. Seems unbalanced

To start this was my first time ordering this tote. With that being said the medium was a bit smaller than I expected but that is my fault for not paying attention to the measurements. It is very well made and the bag itself is pretty stiff so I don't think it will lose shape. I did have it embroidered which makes it feel custom. My only complaint is I chose brown thread and it was very light in color more like a burnt gold.

Absolutely adorable! and it fits so many things. However, I do wish the straps were a little longer to fit over the shoulder.

The bag is nice and sturdy but I wish they would make them in colors other than white like they use to. The white shows the dirt whereas darker colors did not. Please bring back the colored bags.

The bag is very well made.the stitching is beautiful. I liked the personal touch of adding a card that said who made it. My only issue is I wouldn't recommend the short straps. I think once I break it in it'll be better, but I got my sister the long straps and it gives the bag so many additional possibilities.

I'm always happy to repurchase these. I have many and I buy as gifts, also. I had a medium in my cart to get after this one and imagine my surprise when the price increased $10/on each bag overnight. $10. This is significant increase and very disappointing. The quality is A+ but I'm taking a star off for the increase alone. I won't be so quick to buy another.

I love the color and how sturdy the bag is, it holds everything I need for travel for work. I am just giving it a 4-star because it took a while to get the bag.

It's great. My daughter ordered me a boat and tote in early April, it was shipped early June, but never arrived. Had to be refunded. Disappointed in the shipping of the other bag, but lucky I could find a similar bag in store.

As the timex commercial proudly states, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The same can be said of the canvas tote. Whomever I have gifted it to has yet to complain.

I bought this as a surprise gift for my mom! I got it custom monogrammed and she was so happy when she got it! My mom loves a casual yet classy look so this bag is perfect for her.

The small boat and tote are a perfect everyday purse, and the extra-long handles are usually very nice with them. They do not sit well though and the straps might lead the bag to tip over.

I only gave this 4 stars because it can be a little cumbersome due to the size and inflexibility of the material, but it's perfect for road trips when you need something for shoes or coats or food items, etc.

This is my second tote. My first small one. Was disappointed with the size of the engraved name. Otherwise I would of given a 5 star. I feel that the size of the my engraved name only was 4 letters and should of been larger.

The embroidery and quality is wonderful. I do wish it had a pocket either inside or outside. If purchasing again I'd buy the longer handles. Feels like this bag will last a long time.

Perfect size- material is of the utmost quality. Somewhat expensive but getting more always costs more! Great overall experience!

I like the tote. It is well made and colors are pretty. I just wish the embroidery of the name was bigger. All in all, I use it every day.

The product itself was exactly as advertised. The problem came with the delivery. We purchased this as part of a "guarantee delivery before Christmas "add the popped up in early December. I think I ordered it December 3 or fourth? The stated delivery date was December 18. As soon as I hit the purchase button, I was immediately told it would not arrive until January. It showed up two weeks after Christmas

This is my first Boat and Tote bag and it's the perfect size to use daily. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the 2 bags in time for gift giving, as I was initially informed it would add ship after the holiday. Kudos to their supply chain team! I did take off 1 star in the rating though as the stitching on the underside of the straps is very loose, so QC is not adequately checking the machine tension setting on that operation!!

I so wanted to love this tote. I swim at the Y a few days a week. But I found the tote just too heavy! It was heavy when it was empty, let alone when you add a towel or two, a swimsuit, shampoo conditioner brush, etc. But that speaks volumes about the quality of it!

I have owned, and gifted, many of these bags over the years and have always loved them for their durability, functionality and aesthetic. I am hoping this one holds up as well as those in the past. What I noticed about this new bag is the finishing work is not as good, there are thread ends sticking out all over it and the "canvas" is EXTREMELY stiff (cardboard-like stiff), which I don't find to be as nice as previously owned LLBean bags. I am hoping it softens up a bit and I will clean up and trim the lose ends myself.

Love this bag but the monogram name is too small. It gets "lost" on the bag. It should be measured in terms of size of lettering monogram used vs. the space provided to stitch it in. I am not sure I would have chosen to momgram this as I had to pay extra for it. Disappointed. The rest of the bag is rugged. Length of straps allows it to be carried around the shoulder only if you order the long style.

I was worried that the quality would drop due to the popularity and I'm still worried it did. There were a lot of loose threads on the edges and I'm hoping it does not affect the durability of the bag.
