I purchased the medium size and it is perfect for work.

Perfect. I have bought these for almost every person in my family, except ME! My son, especially, uses it in college (art school), where it is super handy for supplies. He also has his LLB backpack from 6th grade. I might buy a medium-sized bag for myself as well, as the large one is QUITE large (handy, but I don't need that size every day). Perfection.

Of course this is the best tote bag ever. I have a million soft totes..this one is for books...had to be LLBean. Love the pink!

Simply the best. I have had my Bean Boat and Tote for over 20 years and it's still going strong. The straps are wicked strong and durable, but wide enough so that they are comfortable if my bag is full. I just wanted another color. I love that they are easy to fold and store. They hold their shape well, and just get slightly slouchy as you wear them in. Just the best basic tote anywhere.

I love it so much. Well made, heavy duty, I should have it for years. Splashed some food on it the second day i had it. I could not believe my eyes how a wet washcloth completely lifted it off the tote without a stain setting in. Practical, I can fit so much stuff in the medium! Thanks again for a quality item, that is personally inspected, that will last for years!
