This is a very well made bag of tough canvas that holds everything from beach items to laundry to grocery items to boating supplies. I like the open (not zipped) version because I am always throwing more into the bag than I thought. The bag is made in USA. An LLBean classic. The only small downside is that it is hard to clean.

Bought for a beach bag for my daughter after my other daughter received one and loves it! Nothing like LLBEAN quality!

This is my standard baby present gift because it is never out grown or wears out. I've probably ordered 30 or so of them and the babies I gave them to at first are now grown and having children of their own but they still have the tote bag I gave them with their name on it. It's great for taking supplies to church - diapers, crayons and books, etc., for school, for picnics, for sleep overs, as a book bag, in college. . . . . Every mother who's received one loves it and finds it so useful; for every baby it's a life long gift. Ten stars!

I purchased 8pcs of this canvass bag as a Christmas gift for officemates. I bought one for myself and I've been using it for a year now. I love this bag so much.

This is my 3rd tote. One is over 10 years old and though it shows its use, it is just as strong as the day I bought it. Can carry heavy tools, reno supplies, or groceries with full confidence that it will hold up. I have purchased several as gifts for family. Best Tote I have ever had.

I hoped this would be our go to bag to take along on our boat, but Paul (whose name is embroidered on the bag) has filled it with his "stuff" so it won't be going with us on our boat rides. I'm disappointed, but he loves it.

bought as gift. my husband puts his things in a grocery store bag and had to update him with something solid. Its a little large and stiff he says but over time should relax a bit! Good quality

Beautiful, rugged fabric and bright, saturated colors. Embroidery is a perfect color match to accent color of bag. Very sturdy construction, robust handle design and large capacity in terms of volume and weight. You could only overload it with lead, mercury, osmium or gold. My mother-in-law can carry her weekend needs plus her pistols and hundreds of rounds of ammo. Don't mess with Flora. She loves her new bag and totes it everywhere, often fully loaded (the bag, not her). She loves that her name is on it and doesn't look like an afterthought. It looks like it will wear beautifully over many years. The grandkids argue over to whom it will be left.

I bought the medium size tote with regular handles. It fits well for all my essentials of ipad ,phone,clutch wallet etc. I like that when I place it on a chair it doesn't tip over and spill the contents. I have the large tote for beach outings and that is great as well. I'm sure it will last for years to come. Great product LLBean!

I have given countless boat and tote bags over the years. I enjoy giving them and seeing them in use Year after year. They wear wonderfully. I have had some of mine for more than 25 years.

Luggage for all my special pooches! Perfect carry all for snacks, dog bowl, leashes etc. Beautiful embroidery and quality. A go to gift for dog pals....

I plan on using it for beach towels, sunscreen, sunglasses etc. etc.

Bag is good quality and show wear for some time.

I bought this bag to replace one I got about 20 years ago. The old one is still in good shape, but it's quite worn, so I decided to get a new one. The new one looks to be identical to the old - same thick cloth and well-sewn seams. I like that this bag stands up on its own, unlike most of my shopping bags. We use this to keep snacks and water bottles in on road trips, as it's easy to grab things out of.

I was super happy with my experience! First of all I got the tote on sale and I thought they would give me a hard time that I wanted initials on it but the employees were so kind and accommodating and I felt really good about the whole thing! I would rate this company and my experience a five star easy!!

I have given dozens of these as baby gifts and have had most delivered directly so I don't actually see them. My only criticism...it used to be there was a greater selection of colors in all the sizes, and it seems LL Bean has cut back on the selection. That is disappointing to me. Please bring back more color options!

We've had our tote for about 40 years. It was a gift from my in-laws. It has been a beach bag, an overnight bag, a cabin bag and is still going strong. I just ordered another one for my wife as a sewing bag.......Thank you LL Bean for a great long lasting product.

Bought this to carry groceries. Figured that the largest size made sense, but had an incomplete idea of how big it was in reality. Was a little concerned when it wouldn't fit in the bag area at checkout. Was no longer concerned when it fit everything that used to require two bags, when carrying everything to the car!! With the long handles, it fits nicely over the shoulder and is easy to walk with on the way out to the car.

Great well made product at a great price. I have several sizes and they last for many years.

We have had several boat and totes throughout the years and every one of them is still in use. Bought this one to transport our puppy's supplies to and from our cottage each weekend. Love the long handles!
