I recently bought a bag for work and I loved it so much I wanted to give it to my bridesmaids as part of their gift for helping me with my special day. I can't wait for them to be a part of my special day and couldn't think of a better way to thank them than with a bag that will last for a lifetime.

Recent regulation in Chicago requires consumers to bring their own bags when shopping (even for things like cleaning products). This can be a problem if one impulsively shops for bargains and ends up with more than expected. Well, this bag is the answer. It can easily live in the trunk of the car, and it is quite large, and extremely sturdy.

This bag is extremely sturdy and well-made. It holds all our beach towels and stands upright. It is very reasonable in price, especially compared with other beach bags available. The only caveat: a zippered inner pocket for small items would be a very useful addition

I bought this bag for my son who brings his dirty laundry home on weekends. After several plastic laundry baskets broke/split, I got him this extra large canvas bag to haul laundry, and it's working great! It's easier to transport and holds more than a stiff, bulky basket, and the long handles make it easy to carry even when overstuffed. This is a good, heavy-duty canvas bag that will hold up for years :)

I have enjoyed using these bags for many, many years. With a lifetime guarantee, you cannot go wrong. I have used mine at a countless number of used book sales and have brought home hundreds of books, all toted in these bags. One is not enough - my husband and I have 6 - and we use them for everything, especially when we travel from state to state. Clothes, toiletry bags, cameras, laptops, food, bottles, shoes, towels - everything is safely hauled around. They are as rugged as can be. LOVE this bag. It has been on my wishlist for a while and when I received a gift card over the holidays I decided it was time to order. I got the large size in Navy with a monogram and it is perfect. I keep it in my car and use it for groceries but you can really use it for anything. My MIL has an extra large bag and she says it is sometimes a little too big but I love the large size that I have. It fits almost everything without being gigantic to carry. Durable and easy to clean, I love love love this bag. I don't know what I did without it and plan on ordering another in a smaller size for other uses.

I bought this for an upcoming cruise in the summer because I wanted something I could carry ALL my stuff in but still get in as a carry-on (I've worn my V.B. Duffel to death lol). This is exquisitely crafted and shipped quickly. I love all the attention to detail & my monogramming is perfect! If I had an excuse to buy another, I definitely would. You will not be sorry! It is super sturdy, holds all sorts of things without ever mismolding the bag or putting strain on the straps. It folds up nicely & sits upright as well when opened. I love it. 10/10!

This is, no joke, probably the 15th Boat and Tote bag that I have purchased in the past 30 years for gifts and/or for myself. I LOVE them. Even with monogramming, they arrive quickly. I enjoy ordering the custom bags and wanted to do so with my most recent purchase but wanted more colors to choose from than what was currently offered. I ended up just going with the basic black and white one this time. PLEASE come out with more custom color choices!!! I would have ordered one in a heartbeat even though they are more expensive. I love to order the custom large tote with the zip top and pocket for baby showers. The moms LOVE them. Please consider adding the pocket option to the basic tote bags. Thank you, LL Bean for these indestructible bags. I use mine every single day.

What more can I say, I always wanted one of these canvas totes ever since I was a young kid. My father used one to carry 24 lb blocks of ice over the sand dunes to a friend's cabin until the ice box no longer kept a tight close. I ordered a large and was a bit concerned it wouldn't be big enough from the dimensions given, but when it arrived it is exactly what I wanted. Can't wait to use it for our summer vacation to the Cape, or whatever other use I can think of.

Have one in every size from old to new. My oldest one I have had for too many years to remember still in as good of shape as my newer ones. Highly recommend for every use imaginable!

This is my 2nd LLBean tote. The 1st one was given to me over 25 years ago by my aunt and although handles are starting to fray, I still use it every week food shopping. I bought this one because carrying a full laundry basket down to the cellar has become difficult. This holds the equivalent of the basket and makes it easy to transport the laundry. I love it! Highly recommend it.

Sturdy bag...Large size is perfect for any outdoor / travel events. Good color selections. Shorter handle perfect for toting.

Love the bags- they are great for use on the boat and shopping. Only issue with this order- we chose monogramming on the order, but none of the bags were monogrammed. But, we like the bags.

Love these bags. Have had one for over 10 years and still does the job. We abuse these bags~can withstand it all! Canvas is a bit stiff initially but after some TLC and constant use (and abuse in our case) it becomes nice and soft, yet still durable. Have one for every member of the family. We use these for the beach, boating, pool, overnights, lugging ski gear and more! You can't go wrong with these!!

The crew at LL Bean could not have been better at correcting a spelling error made in my order for an embroidered large boat bag, no questions asked. They took the bag back, sending a new one within a few days. These folks know their business and stand behind their work. And, the bag? Five stars. It is definitely a standard for every sail bag there is.

I purchased this item as a gift for my wife. It is an attractive and very functional bag. It gets a great deal of use. My wife loves it, so that's good enough for me!

I have owned my medium Boat and Tote bag for at least 10-15 yrs, and it is still going strong w/no signs of wear and tear whatsoever. As a homeschooling mom, I have lugged 4 teacher's manuals + 4 student workbooks in it numerous times. I have packed it full of overflow from my suitcase on numerous trips out of state -- sometimes even w/10 or 16 lbs of hand weights in it. These bags are built to last. Although I have seen at least one review where the person thought the Boat and Totes should have *leather* handles to be sufficiently sturdy, I disagree -- they are as durable as they need to be "just" w/the canvas-&-fabric ones. In addition to the sturdiness of the bag, the color of both the handles (in my case, teal) and the monogram have not faded. Another feature I love about these bags is that the canvas is stiff enough that the bag stands on its own. I love this bag so much that, several years later, I bought a small one for my mother-in-law, and last month, I bought a large zip-top for myself. In my opinion, there is no higher quality tote bag.

I am thrilled with this purchase! It's high quality, and beautiful. I anxiously await trips to the Farmers' Market and the beach.
