I gave this as a baby gift embroidered with initials bc it was one of my favorite gifts I received. Was so impressed with LL Bean. Ordered it on a Wednesday afternoon and it arrived on Friday morning.

A beautiful well made tote that I believe will last for many years.

I have so far purchased three of these canvas totes in varying sizes, open and zip top and find them to be the highest quality. They are tough as well as attractive especially when monogrammed. They make great gifts for moms of young children as well as carrying essentials to and from the office. I highly recommend these totes! Medium seems to be the best choice for everyday carry.

Not something you would necessarily purchase for yourself, but should consider! We were very proud to give this as a gift, and the recipient was thrilled. So glad we went with the longer handles, and the monogram made it extra special. As the recipient stated, it will probably outlast him! Very happy with our purchase, and highly recommend.

Bought my first one 34 years ago used it for my daughter's diaper bag then camping and everything in between! Just bought two monogrammed large totes for neices wedding gifts, so they can start their own tote adventures!

This bag is the best, bought before and will probably buy more in future. They don't wear out, just keep getting a bigger family with lots of stuff to carry, and this is the bag! This is the bag all others want to be.

After my daughter received this as a Baby Shower Gift, she raved about how useful and handy it was. I then bought one for a co-worker who was thrilled with it.

This is a terrific bag. It is large so be aware if size matters to you. No zipper, just a soft canvas open bag with good handles. I can imagine given the materials and construction that this bag may be passed on to the next generation. We have already overstuffed it and it didn't even hint there might be any problem. Need a bag? Get this one.

I purchased the open Boat n Tote for my grandson with his name monogrammed on the front. I have purchased Boat n Tots for each on by grandkids. The kids will fill their totes with toys to bring with them whenever they come to Grandma's house. When it is time to return home, they collect their toys and bring them home again. Always handy to have a Boat n Tote around the house.

This is a high quality bag that you can use for many things.

This is the perfect little tote. I have a small clutch purse which carries my essentials -- but that's all. I put my purse in my tote along with some other items (bottle of water, hand cream, tissues, eye drops, mints, etc.) so that I have them in case I need them. However, I leave the tote in the car -- taking only my clutch purse into stores, restaurants, etc. This way I can always run to the car if I need one of those other items in an emergency but without having to lug them around in a large purse. For me, this is the perfect solution. Made well -- much better than the cheaper versions I've tried.

For a number of years I have had the medium size tote. When I found I needed a small tote, fist place I went was LLBean. I just love their totes.

Ordered my medium open top tote bag in peony (with monogram) this past Sunday and received today (Tuesday!). Unbelievably quick service! The monogram adds that perfect extra touch to the tote thanks to Ryan, my stitcher. This is the perfect sized tote for library books, small trips to the market, work lunches or anything really. Very pleased and will be ordering matching totes in larger sizes.

Bought this for my Singer Featherweight. Her name is Eldoris. She is a 221 from 1949 and she loves her Boat and Tote. No worries about the handle breaking off of the case. Wish I had remembered to get her name embroidered on the bag, that's my bad. Love the Tote, this is my fourth tote, 2 being gifts for friends.

I have used these bags for years for Wedding gifts and New babies and birthdays!!!!!! It always is a useful welcome addition to to any family.

I've always had one of your totes and totally love them. Just felt the need to get a new one in another color. Love all the ways this tote comes in handy.

I totally love my new boat & tote bags. I use these bags for everything from storage to shopping they are comfortable, strong & really well made. I love them so much I bought them in both medium & large. I have them in my home & in my car. I now find carrying groceries three flight of stairs to be easier.

As a general contractor, I have been using a medium LL Bean tote for my hand tools for almost 15yrs. In fact, I still have my very first one. It's a bit dirty and frayed at the bottom, reinforced corners but still tough as nails and holding up well. It's been relegated to carrying my chainsaw tools, oil and accessories. I now have 3 more mediums, 4 large and 1 small. As a contractor, I use the large totes for carrying EVERYTHING to and from the jobsite- hand tools, power tools, nails, screws, fittings, etc. Great catch all bags for any contractor-masonry, carpentry, plumbing et al. Their heavy-duty canvas construction and quality stitching has oulasted all other tool bags(except my Kleins) by 10yrs!

The canvas bag was a nice size and the color of fern with olive thread was beautiful. Our Mom loved it!!!!

I bought the extra large short handled bag. It's perfect for loading everything up and taking it to the beach for the day. It's durable and holds everything I'd ever need. I bought another bag for my in-laws and they love it too! I can't imagine using anything else for this purpose. It is a large bag, but it's ideal for carrying a lot of things. I love it. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this tote to take multiple items to work with me every day - lunch, water, reading material, etc. One of my fellow employees has already asked me where I got the tote and I told her. The tote is obviously well made out of very sturdy material and strongly stitched. It comes in a variety of colors and sizes. Service at LL Bean is always exemplary. I would consider buying another smaller one.

This is a really great bag. It is very well made, strong thick canvas material. If you live on a boat this will do the trick. It can hold a lot of weight and you can put a lot in it. Or go grocery shopping for your family and use this bag to put your groceries in. I love this bag!
