Great shirt! Comfortable and well made. Couldnt ask for anything more.

The fabric is lovely, but it doesnt fit a woman very well. I originally got this shirt for my husband a few years ago and its such a great layer for working outdoors I had to have my own. This review will cover my experience with the one I bought for myself, not the one I bought for my husband. I couldnt find a womans shirt in this same fabric, so I had to buy this mens one. My husbands medium fit me perfectly everywhere but my hips, so I sized up to a large and its a huge jump in size. The arms way too long and baggie, the torso way too wide. The fabric is wonderful for working outdoors in our mild PNW winters. Its hard to find good thick flannel shirts for women, so Ill probably just have it tailored - an added expense my husband didnt have. Wish you had the same options of outdoor work clothes for women as they do for men, or maybe Im just not finding it online?

Nice shirt however I docked a star since there is only one cuff button on each sleeve instead of two. These are slim fit shirts and slim fit men don't typically have huge hands. The sleeves are nice and long but with only one button the cuffs slide right over my hands.

Medium in this slim-fit shirt works well. Ordered it in a small last year; it was too tight. As a woman who spends a lot of time outdoors, I prefer guys shirts as they're made for comfort and rugged wear over style. Women's shirt are flimsier materials, and sleeves are often not long enough.

This shirt was just a bit too light weight for winter. The quality is excellent. It was just the wrong season.

The regular was too short for me (6'1") but great thickness and quality!

My daughter loves these shirts. She needs to buy mens for the longer sleeves. I buy her one every year.

I like the shirt but the sleeves were too long; I had to take the shirt to a tailor to have them shortened, the same thing occurred with another shirt I purchased earlier from LL Bean.

Purchase made some wks ago but happy with the shirt it matches the grey flannel bought 2 decades ago, the buttons could be lighter grey and smaller in size duplicating the refinement of the earlier version. This slim model fits my 38 in" waist and 41 in" hips perfectly, it eliminates the excess material found in your classic size shirt. The Bean flannel shirts remain the best in the market, ensuring this customer's loyalty for life.

Great quality and warmth. The colors are just like the website photo. Beautiful rich colors. The fit feels like a traditional fit, being that I wear small - I really don't recognize this as a slim fit. Great to wear as a shirt or over a tee. I recommend this shirt but expect it to fit similar to a traditional cut. Have received compliments! I'm enjoying this shirt.

Has a nice thick warm material for those cold winter days.

We returned it was a slim fit and it didn't fit properly , made well and heavy weight

It is thick and great quality and color but originally bought in medium but too tight (specially the shoulder area). I exchanged for a large but it billows in the back a bit, even after washing on hot.

A little boxy in the body. I ordered a size up (i.e., XL) from the slightly fitted flannel I ordered last year (i.e., L) and the body on the Signature was pretty full in the midsection. Otherwise, a nice shirt.

I love this shirt. Soft, warm, and cozy, it fits shoulders and chest well, looks great, and gets compliments. Two more buttons would have made it perfect, one added to each cuff as an option to tighten and keep the generous sleeves from sliding down over my hands. You've put two buttons on the sleeves of other shirts; why not this one? My solution was to remove the buttons and sew them back on to make each cuff fit a little more tightly around my wrists.

I think it was a hit...! West Coast adult son (who only wears plaid) grew up with his Dad habitually wearing LL Bean Chamois cloth shirts and still does. When I saw Chamois available in Plaid; I shopped. All I can add is that when we spoke by phone on our son's birthday: "Do I like it? I'm wearing today !" Thank you LL Bean ~

This shirt fit perfectly! Great for spring or fall. A little too warm for summer. And with layers underneath it would be great for winter as well. Flannel the world people!!

fit is a little to slim

They say this shirt is slim fit, but the cut makes it so you can't really wear it like a shirt. It's more of a jacket. The shoulders are narrow, but the body is wide. I guess the wide body gives you full range of motion for your arms while doing things like chopping wood, but you can't tuck the shirt in without the back poofing out in the dreaded 90's Seinfeld style. Given the shirt is made from a thick flannel material, it would be better off committing to the shirt jacket style with a shorter front and straight-cut bottom.

Everything you'd want in a flannel shirt. Comfortable, durable, soft, and fits well.

Very nice flannel, I love it ! Great color pattern awsome fit and fantastic quality. I who're it one week straight when it arrived, and just finished up a back country fishing trip and it held up well. It fits true to size. The sleeves are perfect on this style.

The Good: warm, soft, comfortable, color The Bad: not all that slim. I wear a 42R - 42L in suits with 32 waist. This shirt is still fairly boxy. Arm holes should be higher and there is a lot of material on the sides. I would say this shirt fits like a standard American cut shirt. I could very easily wear a sweater under this flannel.

Fit and feel are great! Thick "flannel" (which is what I wanted) that fits my torso and my long arms well... and this is rare for me really. I do not usually get "slim fit" but this one works well for me. I should also say that the regular fit chamois shirt fits me a bit large and poofy. The only complaint is the colors don't really match with what I expected from the website.
