Overall fit not what I have been accustomed to over the last 15 years. Arms are way too small (slim) and makes it difficult to bend at the elbow.

Admittedly, I have long arms and broad shoulders. But this thing fits like a tent built for two. This is "slim fit" only in a universe filled with flannel clad grizzly bears.

Bought this signature chamois last year and loved it - when it was a standard fit. I do like the slim fit through the chest and waist but I can barely fit my forearms into the sleeves and it's about an inch too short. Please consider bringing this style back in a more relaxed fit?

These shirts fit well & are somewhat comfortable but lack attention to quality of chamois shirt purchased from LL Bean in the past. I suppose to stay somewhat competitive decisions must be made to meet price points, it's just saddens me that a company that was for so long thought of as above others for workmanship & attention to detail has had to adopt policies to be competitive. Don't miss understand me I do see that this is the way our world operates in these times. One example of what I am talking about is the lack of any rigidity in the collar of these shirts ( I have purchased 4 of them in different colors thinking maybe it was a fluke but alas they are all the same) after washing the collars flop flat unless you iron them with a little starch. If you don't the collar just lays flat on the shoulder of the shirt & looks like a shirt of poor quality. Just my opinion of course but you did ask & so I'm being honest in my evaluation. Your shirts I owned in the past were ready to go & looked great when promptly removed from the dryer.

My husband loves these shirts, for the fit and comfort. We've been ordering Chamois for years The one we purchased last season has not held up well. The fabric has pilled and the shirt started to look shabby very quickly. Pity really. Nevertheless we purchased a different colour this year hoping LL has gotten the fabric issue sorted out. I'd like to say we recommend it.. but there is a but.

I absolutely love this shirt. I only wish it came slightly fitted instead of slim fit.
I'm 5'9" about 165 lbs. Pretty average, but the slim fit doesn't quite fit the way I would like. The small is too tight, but the medium the sleeves are too long and a little bit baggy.
The slightly fitted fits perfectly on me in a small, but I really prefer these thicker heavier flannel shirts. I am wearing the medium for now. I may try a small and hope the fabric stretches a bit.
Other than the sizing this is a great shirt.

Nice shirt but it shrunk more than all other large shirts I've purchased at beans over 40 years.

My brother is lean and about 5'10 he has long arms . I had bought him a tall button down flannel from LL bean last year and he loved it so I bought him two of these in tall confident he'd love the print! Since he's a hunter!! I was so frustrated when he put them on and they were both insanely short sleeved .. like for a man that's not tall at all! Had to return both and am now a little head shy to order more

It's a nice shirt, but the sleeves are too long too wide at the wrist. I have the same style shirt in a different color pattern and it fits perfect

Too short in the back.I will need to find a big & tall version , even though he is normally a large, I got a 2XL & that was too short. Also, there is not ample room in the arms. He is thin (6' & 210 lbs) and the XXL was not sized correctly all the way around. The craftsmanship and quality of the flannel was good, as well as the design in general.

I bought this online. Shirt came and fit and feel were as expected. I returned it though because the buttons were so large. I thought it looked bad.

This slim fit style lacks room on shoulders and upper back. If you have muscles this won't be comfortable.I had to send mine back.

I love the fit and size of these shirts on me, but I have now had two pairs that blew-out at the elbow after approximately two years of moderate seasonal use. This level of quality is not acceptable for the price point and greater longevity should be expected. Elbow re-inforcement should be considered on a future design of this product.

Nice shirt but arrived with a hole in it so we now have to exchange.

Very nice shirt. Very heavy, paired with a river driver shirt you can't beat the combo. For a slim fit I'm very disappointed, shirt is still very big/wide. This seems to be the direction LLB is going these days.

The fabric is lovely, but it doesn't fit a woman very well.
I originally got this shirt for my husband a few years ago and it's such a great layer for working outdoors I had to have my own. This review will cover my experience with the one I bought for myself, not the one I bought for my husband.
I couldn't find a woman's shirt in this same fabric, so I had to buy this men's one. My husband's medium fit me perfectly everywhere but my hips, so I sized up to a large and it's a huge jump in size. The arms way too long and baggie, the torso way too wide.
The fabric is wonderful for working outdoors in our mild PNW winters. It's hard to find good thick flannel shirts for women, so I'll probably just have it tailored - an added expense my husband didn't have.
Wish you had the same options of outdoor work clothes for women as they do for men, or maybe I'm just not finding it online?

I really like the material and the color, but the shoulders are too tight, I can't raise my arms above my head. Medium is too baggy.
I like Emerald Spruce and Marine Blue Plaid very much and I wish L.L Bean would make these in traditional fit, so please make these in traditional fit.

This is a snug fit. Combined with the stiffness of the fabric don't count on being able to tie your shoes or reach the top shelf. I am fine boned with a slim build and this fit is snug around my forearms of all places. My wife's wrists are bigger than my forearms! According to reviews this shirt fit someone twenty five pounds heavier than me so I ordered it. The fit is the same as the flannel lined sweatshirt I bought which is a "regular" fit, but the stretchy fabric allows movement. I can no longer count on Bean to get the fit right.

The only problem with this shirt is the fit. It's not a slim fit shirt. I have the version of this shirt from LL Bean in the traditional fit and this shirt fits exactly the same - same length, same silhouette. I've found the fit of the Signature line of these Chamois shirts to be inconsistent. I have several of the Signature Chamois shirts and the variation has been acceptable, until I got this one. This is just the traditional fit Chamois shirt with the wrong tag.

I have bought or was given moleskin shirts from LL Bean the last two years, and loved them. Four of them hang in my closet. This year the company turned to cheaper ways: the material is thinner and the shirts are not cut as full. After I put them on I raised my arms felt how tight the shirt fit across my back. Despite this the price per shirt remains high. I've paid more in the past to get quality from LLB, but not this year. I sent my two shirts back for a refund. I'm a fan of the company and I trust this is not indicative of a trend. I found better quality this year at other outlets.

Not really a slim fit, but true large. On the Moonlight blue color version the color of the buttons clashed with the color of the shirt. The cuffs only have one button on them. On me the sleeves fell over my hands.

After having purchased at least 10 chamois shirts from LL Bean over the past maybe 40 years , this was the first and most disappointing products that I have ever bought from LL Bean. The shirt itself was much too thin to wear as a fall cover, which I have always done in the past. I always felt that your products were high quality at decent prices but that is evidently no longer the case

I purchased a slim and regular, both are too small and not the quality I would've expect from llbean, especially for the price! Won't be purchasing again.

Wow! What a disappointment; I've owned dozens of these chamois shirts over the years. The arms are on this one are tighter than if it were a dress shirt and the sleeves are at least an inch shorter than the other three L.L.Bean chamois shirt of the same size that I currently have. It is also shorter in overall length, and there isn't even a chamois color option. I thought I was ordering the classic color, but Amber Honey is not the same; it is darker. The weight of the fabric is as it should be, but wrong on too many fronts. I don't see how I can trust ordering one online again. (Now I see it is a "slim fit" so partially my error for not reading correctly, but where is the fuller shirt that can be worn over other clothes?)
