I am 6'2", 140lbs with long limbs and have the worst time trying to find shirts that aren't too baggy while also fit the length of my arms. The small slim tall shirt is perfect for that and so very warm and comfy!

6'1, 195 lb, 40-42 chest, 30 waist. MT slim fit is perfect, after trying on I bought in 4 other colors. I ordered regular fit in M and M Tall because there was a plaid I loved that was only available in regular fitif you have similar proportions please don't waste your time buying and returning the regular fit flannels or chamois (as a caveat re: regular fit, I did buy one of the quilted sweaters in M Tall, not available in slim fit, and that still fit great and is super comfy, great quality, highly recommend). The chamois cloth is undefeated. So choice. So thick but still so soft. You can tell these shirts will last forever and my sons will be wearing them to college in 10 and 15 years from now. A little bit of sticker shock when you first see the price, but when you think about the quality being such that you could turn them into family heirlooms, they're actually a great value.

By far my favourite shirt, I absolutely love all my L.L.Bean shirts, the first one was given to me by my Californian godmother when I was 16, and 15 years later it's still going strong. I'm based in London UK and it's not easy to find clothes for tall people there: I'm 6'4 and a half and slim/athletic and I love how the 'Tall' sizes fit me, how long the shirt is, and the fabric material and cut are perfect. This signature 1933 cut is really cool, i ordered it in blue and yellow. I'd really like it if L.L.Bean offered more colour choices for their chamois shirts. The existing ones are very nice if a little conventional. The yellow from the signature 1933 cut is great, an airy orange would be a very welcome addition. Finally, if L.L.Bean ever need a model for their 'Tall' chamois shirts, i'd be glad to help! I think I'd do a very good job haha!

One of the best shirts I have ever purchased (I have now purchased multiples). The material is comfortable but can take whatever conditions you throw at it. The shirt fits better than the Signature Washed Oxford shirt (I feel that shirt is about 2 inches shorter than it needs to be). I hope this is the one shirt that LL Bean keeps making year after year. Would love an option for black and green.

I bought the large and medium, both fit very well and the fabric feels fantastic and soft. I'm always between sizes with most brands. I'll probably keep the large and return the medium since the "signature fit" seems to be a little tighter then normal. Which is fine. I don't dry nice clothes and take care of them, I have other LL plaid shirts that are nearing 10 years old.

I went for this shirt in Small Tall after reading the review posted by JustinT from Santa Fe (thank you sir) who it seems faces the same problems I have with many shirts. I'm a slim 160 lbs with long arms, so traditional fit is right out the window, and I worried with LL Beans larger sizing being what it is that the even with a slim medium (my normal size) I'd still be swimming in it. So we arrive at the Small Slim fit - which I didn't try but likely would've been too short on the arms. Instead I went straight for the Small Tall and boy howdy it is perhaps the best fitted shirt to my frame and arms of any shirt I've ever owned! And I have a long torso to boot but this shirt has plenty of material to tuck in ( which is my sole complaint with Land's End Slim Flannels which I wear in medium and love). The material is heavy and soft, the buttons are large and substantial in a good way - it's just an all around fantastic shirt. After getting it I immediately started hunting Small Tall sizing in other LL Bean menswear and sadly found almost none - please add the option in your sweaters, fleeces, sweatshirts and other shirts!
For specific sizing reference for other shoppers I am a 40R chest with 34-35 sleeve length and 15.5 neck.

My 30-year-old LL Bean chamois shirt is still in great shape, and I expect this one to last just as long. The slim fit is a great cut for me: comfortable without a lot of extra material to tuck in. Highly recommended

I've bought my tall, skinny son-in-law the second Bean chamois shirt because it looks good as an over shirt for driving to work here in Southern California where the weather never really gets cold. I keep buying this shirt; it might be the 8th or 10th one in 20-some years. Yep! That good.

This is my favorite shirt I own. I had one from a few years ago and wore it a TON. I finally wore through one of the elbows and took the opportunity to get another one. I bought two this time and couldn't be happier. This is my go-to shirt All. The. Time. I love it so much, I got my dad one for Christmas last year. It's just one of those pieces of clothing that I can't be without. I wish there was some sort of alert system that would tell me if they were going to stop selling them. I'd buy five more.
I wear a size small and feel that LL Bean shirts usually run big for my taste. I'm usually a medium in other brands.

This shirt is not the baggy chamois shirt of old. More slim fitting. I went a size small even though I wear a medium in most other stores. Would recommend a size down from your normal size.

These are the best shirts - so practical in cooler weather. Trim fit just eliminates some of the extra cloth while still maintaining the loose fit and feel. I own 4 of these
